There's no escaping a Dire Wolf on the hunt....
Even as the playboy of the Dire Wolves, Levi isn't exactly a soft touch. He likes his liquor, his women, and his photographs...but he also has an affinity for sharp knives and claws. What starts as an assignment to investigate humans finding their way onto a pack's land quickly becomes something darker, more dangerous, and a whole lot hotter than he expected.
Amy refuses to leave her pack behind, but living in the small town at the base of their mountain gives her enough freedom not to feel trapped. So does running the diner she owns and loves. But someone's been watching her a little too closely, and it's not the handsome wolf shifter who crashes into her kitchen one night looking at her as if she is the last woman on earth.
One soldier who's never cared enough stay, one woman whose roots run too deep to leave, and a stalker with more than just peeping on his mind. In the world of the Dire Wolves, a simple mission means standing your ground and fighting to the end. But this time, a single glance blows simple right off the mountain and forces Levi to run when he'd rather stand and fight...just as long as his mate is running with him.
One soldier, one fight...one chance at forever.

Levi is the ultimate playboy until he sees Amy. These dires know a good thing when they see it and Levi is no exception. When an unexpected danger surrounds his mate he will fight to the death to eliminate it and keep her safe. This is my favorite shifter series!
Wonderful narration which makes listening a pleasure. Great inflection with the voices and a good pace. Really enjoyed Levi’s story. BOOK REVIEW 4.5 stars. Another good book in this series, bring on the rest. Poor old Levi, treated like the idiot baby brother by his pack. I think he did very well all things considered, especially when you get to the end and it all comes out as to what is going on. No one could have seen that coming. His pack sure didn’t. Loved Amy, feisty, smart and her own woman but more than able to be his mate and balance Levi. 12 brothers, that is a series in and of itself. Will be fun to see Amy and Levi in future books, Levi especially living small town life. Whilst this book is not as great as book one, it is still very good. I think this is due to the uniqueness of these Dire wolves and book one was just a wow due to this fact. We are now getting to know these Dire Wolves and will appreciate their characters as the series progresses. This is my honest review of this book.
