What I Loved

What Didn’t Work as Well
Because the books are novellas, the romances move very quickly. There isn’t much room for build-up, depth, or slow character development, which left me wishing for more layers in both the relationships and the storytelling. The stories themselves are enjoyable, but with more time and detail, they could have been truly unforgettable.

🎧 Narration
Lucy Rivers and Lee Samuels are fantastic together, narrating all four novellas with consistency and charm. They give each character a distinct voice and bring just the right amount of emotion to every scene. Their chemistry and delivery made the listening experience feel fresh from start to finish I couldn’t imagine a better duo for this collection.

Final Thoughts
The Santini Series Collection is light, fun, and romantic perfect if you’re in the mood for quick hits of swoony love stories featuring four very different Italian heroes. While the lack of depth and build-up may leave some readers (myself included) wanting more, the charm of the Santini brothers and the heart of each story still shine through. Leslie Pike is a new-to-me author, and I’d love to see what she could do with longer, more developed novels because the potential is absolutely there.

I absolutely love this beautiful collection from start to finish. Leslie, you impress the heck out of me yet again, but I’m not surprised because there’s something about your books that always put the biggest grin on my face. The Santini Brothers have all different quirks that I absolutely loved.

I just want to sing my praises of Lucy Rivers and Lee Samuels for performing all the beautiful characters. Both of you truly put me in my feels, made me laugh hysterically at times, made me swoon, at times broke my heart and so many other feelings. This beautiful little series will be one of my comfort reads from now on because it’s an uplifting, beautiful and encouraging family who wants the best for each other.

If you absolutely love, love love a story about family who wants the best for you, then this beautiful little series is meant for you. I cannot wait to read and listen to more of your beautiful books, Leslie. What a wonderful collection of irresistible and sizzling romances! There is so much to love about the whole Santini family, that you can't help but fall hard for these charming Italian men and the wonderful women who love them. Not only are all four stories included here, but Pike has added some bonus epilogues as well!

I absolutely loved this charming, emotional, and fun story. I am usually not a fan of novellas but this story had a depth that was totally satisfying. Nash is a sexy single Dad who has just moved to the area with his adorable young son, Max. Max is his priority, so he is not looking for a long term relationship. When he meets beautiful, sweet and sexy Farrah in his office, the sparks fly. Farrah has had her life on hold, caring for her ill parents. She is selling her home and moving away, looking for adventure. It is the perfect setup for a quick and fun affair, but they never expected the connection of a lifetime. This story was fast but packed with fun banter, sweet family connections, lovable dogs, and fiery hot passion. It also had the perfect epilogue that brought tears to my eyes!
Lee Samuels and Lucy Rivers did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They are so easy to listen to as they flawlessly deliver all the fun banter, emotion, and steam. They made this romance even more captivating and delightful.

They are both unsatisfied with their lives but not really sure how to fix it. But after a surprisingly fun evening between two strangers, they begin to see the possibilities of a connection of a lifetime. This story was fast but packed with fun banter, sweet family connections, a grumpy cat, and fiery hot passion. It also had the perfect epilogue that brought tears to my eyes!
I continued to enjoy the narration by Lee Samuels & Lucy Rivers. They kept me completely engaged as they brought this irresistible, and romantic story to life. If you're looking for a quick listen, I highly recommend this book!

I have been waiting for Nikos story and he did not disappoint! Nikos is the youngest and wildest in the loving Santini family. He is living an untamed life in the world of a Las Vegas dancer. When he received a call to come home to care for his dad after an accident, he was not happy. He soon finds a diversion in his fathers Physical Therapist, Jenny. Jenny has a natural sweet and sexy appearance but Niko sees a wild side just below the surface, and is determined to set it free. Jenny is so tempted by the sexy dancer but doesn't mix business with pleasure. When Niko breaks thru her walls and their passion is combustible will it burn them both?
I am so happy that Lee Samuels & Lucy Rivers continue to narrate this series. I loved the way they developed and expressed these characters, making them come alive, and making me care for them, and cheer for their HEA. I loved this is fun, heartwarming, sexy addition to the Santini family saga.

Destiny Dawns was so sweet and had all the heart-warming feels packed into one beautiful story. Dion Santini finally finds a woman who moves him to overcome his shyness and turn on his irresistible charm. When Anya walks into his deli, they have an instant attraction. They are opposites who connect with their shared love of cooking, family, and each other. But what happens when her time in St. Helena comes to an end? Will their new love be worth fighting for? This final book in the Santini series was a delightful, and swoony listen.
Lee Samuels and Lucy Rivers continue to narrate this series. They kept me completely engaged as they brought this irresistible, and romantic story to life. If you're looking for a quick listen, I highly recommend the whole Santini series!

Sweet and Fun!

The Santini Series Collection by Leslie Pike are three fast paced contemporary romance novellas. Each one gives hallmark vibes with the spice! All of the stories give you the fun meet cute moments and endless laughter. The Santini family as a whole are rambunctious, loud, and welcoming. They are the kind of people that will have your back and love you for being you. Now don’t get me wrong, they can be nosy when each son brings home a new person, but in the end they all have good intentions. Out of the three stories, Kate and Christos were my favorite, especially with their Halloween meet cute. I loved how Kate had a knack for putting a smile on Christos face and getting him out of his head to relax. This collection was a fun one to listen to! Thank you Blue Nose Audio for this ALC opportunity!

This is an amazing collection of short, sweet and a bit spicy love stories. Which Santini brother is my favorite? It’s a tie between Nikos and Dion who couldn’t be more different. Nikos was the crazy carefree Vegas dancer and Dion this more quiet reserved brother, working in the family deli. All the brothers had something about them that makes them just so loveable. Lucy Rivers does an amazing job of hopping in the all the roles of Farrah, Jenny, Kate and Anya. And Lee Samuels did such an amazing job capturing the different personalities of Nash, Christos, Nikos and Dion Santini.

The first one is my favorite!

I absolutely loved the first book! It was funny and delightfully sweet. The rest were very good and I liked them too, but Farrah and Nash are my favorite! I loved how it kept the family events updated throughout each book and man’s story of finding love. Things happened fast for everyone, but I am glad they all found their person.

Palette Cleansers

If you need a short romance palette cleanser - these are for you. They have an average plot, for me the spice seemed very choppy but the stories were cute and the narration is great.

Happiest feeling listening to these

I loved each and every story in the Santini series. It’s full of nostalgia, second chances, passion and spice.

The setting in each book made this experience even sweeter, and the localness I felt from a town in close proximity to where I live warmed my heart.
Each book is a standalone, but the family aspect in Leslie’s stories is something I love most. With each novella averaging around 2 hours, I recommend bingeing the entire series.
They are feel-good, sweet, sexy, and from the heart.

Soak up a sunny day and get lost in this series. It will make you happy.

Bonus novellas for the win!

I got to know the Santini brothers over a year ago when i listened to each book with major breaks in-between. I think loved it more now as i re-listened to the entire series in one shot. The narrators were so funny and had such great chemistry. They brought a different dynamic to each brother when encountering their lady loves. And the bonus novellas just made me squeal. Loved getting some new parts of the stories.

Located in a small town in wine country (California), these novellas are full of age-gap, reverse age-gap, grumpy/sunshine, friends-to-lovers, single-dad, small-town, steamy romance that will have you laughing and crying for hours!

Destiny Laughs - Farrah and Nash. She's about to leave town, he's a single dad and veterinarian. These two have an instant attraction and connection. Bonus epilogue included.

Destiny Plays - Christos and Kate. Broody lawyer meets artsy actress. Their connection is real and become friends before giving into their passion. *Cat in his crotch scene is hilarious.

Destiny Shines - Nicos and Jenny. Vegas, drugs, and clubs are what dancer Nicos knows. Physical therapist Jenny is wanting to spread her wings, but her celibate youth pastor bf isn't making it easy. Will he return to his hometown roots or will Jenny embrace the Vegas nightlife?

Destiny Dawns - Dion and Anya. Forever bachelor Dion wants Anya (who he thinks is married). She's a personal chef, but leaving California soon. Is Dion willing to risk everything for love?

The dual narration was awesome! Lee Samuels and Lucy Rivers voice all four novellas and do an AMAZING job in distinguishing the numerous characters included in the series. I loved the singing by Mr. Samuels, too! 5/5 grape stomping stars!
