Publisher's summary

Ten years ago, Dominic Walsh faked his own death. With no true identity, it wasn’t hard. But if he’d stayed, he would have been drawn further into a life he’d never chosen. He has friends and family at Ward Security now and has managed to escape his dark past. There is only one thing he truly wants: Abraham Stephens.

When Dom was first tasked with watching over his friend’s father, he didn’t expect to fall so hard for the gorgeous silver fox. But Abe is interested in friendship only. He’s at a point in his life where he wants something permanent, not a romp with the sexy redhead who happens to be the same age as his son.

But Abe finds himself drawn deeper into Dom’s life when cryptic messages start appearing - ones that frighten the skilled security specialist. The more Dom tries to hide what’s happening, the more Abe wants to help him.

And maybe, just maybe, he’ll find a way to trust the strength of the bond Dom understood from the start.

double trouble

Ever since helping Shane and Quinn on a case and guarding Shane’s dad, Abe, Dom has wanted him. Abe keeps him in the friend zone, but deep down is interested in him. Dom is charming, witting, persistent and strong but he is also the same age as his son. When Dom starts getting notes in the way of chalk drawings Abe knows there is something wrong and wants to help.
Dom that he left his past behind when he faked his death and became a new person years ago. Only his boss Rowe Ward knows the truth, Until the past comes back for him and threatens the man he loves.
This is another interesting book. This one doesn’t have as many twists but is intriguing all the same. I just can’t get enough of these characters!
Again, Kenneth Obi brings the book to life with his unique voices and emotions. I am waiting for the next book!

Age Gap

When we first met Dominic Walsh I felt like he was the class clown but his series loving side comes through in this book when he falls for Abe. Kenneth Obi brings the suspense and the genuine love just shines through. Such a wonderful talented narrator.

4.5 STARS

We finally get Dom’s story! And his sexy silver fox is everything we could have ever wanted! Abe is Shane’s dad, we know him as Quinn’s sexy PI boyfriend, and he’s just as amazing as his son! Dom’s past comes barging in for him and everything he holds dear, and that’s simply unacceptable to him.

I loved seeing all these men again, and that little tidbit of Andrei and Lucas and Snow and my faves Rowe and Noah 🖤 I’m just obsessed with them.

Only reason I didn’t give this 5 Stars? The whole not telling anyone and bottling everything is so... expected and frustrating, I’d like a take on asking for help from the beginning and figuring things out.

Also, anyone dying for a book of our new favorite movie star? It’s actually out now! Check out Something About Jace, which is Trent’s story!

May/December Romance is a Sweet Thing

The story revolves around an age gap romance of the MCs. There is hesitation on both parts as the difference between them is generational, such as father and son. They have detractors and supporters.

Dom, a bodyguard for Ward Security, has been secretly in love with a co-worker's father for over a year. But Dom has secrets, lots of secrets, and doesn't feel he has the right to a happy life.

Secrets don't always stay hidden, and family betrayals can impact the present even when you'd prayed that they would stay hidden in the past.

Ward Security. Men and women who always have your back.

Narrator Kenneth Obi was fantastic in this story. He never allowed it to drag. The characters are believable, and the story came to life. Kinda scary, actually. Kenneth does creepy really well.

Excellent story!

Amazing story! I love all of the characters, was so excited to hear past characters come back into the story, & I Highly enjoy the Narrator! Sad to see this series end, but I'm glad to have this whole series to listen to whenever I want! I wish I could recommend, but I don't know folks who enjoy M/M romance as much as I do! Thanks again for sharing this series to all of us who do!

Please stop

Kenneth Obi must be stopped. He does so many characters right then makes the lead sound like a demented child. Please stop doing that high pitched voice it's horrible.

another enjoyable book in this series

Great characters but it was a little disappointing to see the same theme again so soon in the series (bad family catching up with an MC as an adult), but the May-Sept relationship was great. And I loved Dom's penchant for using interesting words!

Flash forward, this is my favourite book so far

The story basically starts with Dom working a job guarding a movie star from a stalker, who gets close and Dom ends up kicking him through a window. This gets him on telly and set in the sites of his past. As this is happening Dom has finally gotten himself a date with Abe. It’s so fast passed I didn’t want to stop for a moment and even though looking back I can see not a lot really happened, or maybe the components seemed rushed it didn’t feel that way when reading. This was a story about an already established romance, they playful when will they wasn’t apart of it, that had already been happening, this started with that first kiss. And fuck it was funny when Abe told Shane who he was dating.
