Sad Eyes And Wounded Hearts is a story about a teenage girl who experiences childhood wounds, and these wounds become the catalyst that transforms her into a warrior. The powers that tried to destroy her knew her destiny and were terrified. Gia has been chosen to lead the army to eliminate evil from the lower world. She overcomes her depression and shame and learns about her destiny. It's a story about second chances and new beginnings. The story is set in a mythical kingdom. But make no mistake, the trauma, pain, and wounds are real.
The eyes are the windows into a person's soul. You can hide your pain through silence, but your eyes always reveal what's happening inside your heart. What people see in our eyes is often ignored or overlooked.
The author will take you on a journey with a teenage girl who begins with sad eyes and a wounded heart and becomes a fearless, joyful warrior.
This story is fiction. Many readers will read it and relate to it. The book was written to bring healing to the pain he witnessed, which resulted in his own sad eyes and wounded heart and the sad eyes and wounded hearts of several loved ones.
This is part one of a two-volume book collection. Volume two will be released in December of 2023.
