Publisher's summary

District Judge Katie McKinley takes her job very seriously. Serving God in a position that brings awesome responsibility and, sometimes, great sacrifice is never easy. Neither is raising twin twelve-year-old boys without a father. When she is forced to make a ruling against an old flame, her life is turned upside down.

Graham Bishop has had feelings for Katie since they were in grade school together. So when someone puts a target on her back, and he's placed at the top of the suspect list, he's determined to prove to Katie and the police they're after the wrong guy.

Katie wants to believe Graham would never hurt her but with all the evidence pointing to him it's obvious someone is either framing him or he isn't the man she thought he was. Trusting her instincts could prove fatal, but if she doesn't she will lose her chance at happiness again.

Wonderful Story and Narration

"Sabotage" was a terrific listen with a super storyline. I loved the protagonist Kate as well as Graham. Kate was in a unique situation with her hubby being away at service and her raising her two sons. The story moved along at a great pace and I was so pleased at how it turned out. I'd recommend this one as an awesome listen by Anne Patrick.

Leonor A. Woodworth's narration was fabulous. She made the story flow. She has a nice, smooth voice and has definitely proven to be one of my fave voice actors. This was very well done.

A Must listen!

I will begin by stating I love Anne Patrick. I have listened to quite a few of her books, and they always engage me and keep me interested. This one quickly became one of my favorites. I love second chances, and Katie with Graham was perfect. Katie and Graham grew up together, were best friends and were always in love...though never expressing their feelings. Katie dated other people, resulting in a terrible car crash that changed her life. Both Katie and Graham married other people, both of their spouses dying at young ages. When they both came back home, they were forced together, first in court where Katie was the judge, and then sometime later by mutual friends. Graham helped her work through losing her marine husband, loved her twin sons and protected her from the evil that was still lurking around her. The suspense of the whodunnit was definitely worth the listen.

As always, Leonor A Woodworth delivers the most amazing performance. I love her narrations. She can be calming, emotional and crazy all within minutes of each other. I also love that you can tell which character is speaking. Her voices are distinct. This is a must listen!

Enjoyable Story Of Faith 🌻

This is the second book I've listened to by this author and I'm now positive it won't be my last. 😉. Anne Patrick has a wonderful way of balancing an intricate story with just enough Christian values to feel genuine and not forced.

This book is a delightful mix of romance with bits of mystery and suspense. The characters are believable and are not portrayed as perfect yet it shows how everything happens in God's timing. It's a story that is sad, sweet, inspirational, and uplifting.

The narrator does a wonderful job with A.P's books. Her reading truly complimented the story.

Although I would have used a credit for this... I would like to thank the author, narrator, or publisher for providing me this audiobook at no cost in exchange for my unbiased review.

Entertaining and Enjoyable

Any additional comments?

Really good, entertaining, interesting and enjoyable Christian romantic mystery. Definitely worth your time.

A clean second chance at love story.

Katie and Graham were both great characters. The story has the perfect mixture of mystery, suspense, romance, family a HEA and faith.

Leonor A. Woodworth does a really good job with the narration. Great character voices. Clearly spoken. Pleasant voice. She was able to convey all of the emotions of the characters. Her narration pulled you right into the story and brought it to life.

Loved it!

The team of Anne Patrick and Leonor A. Woodworth did it again! Ms. Patrick writes another romance novel with Christian values, showing that God still answers prayers in His own way and in His own time. Her characters are real and well rounded, getting the reader involved in their lives. As narrator, Ms. Woodworth does an amazing job, giving the reader all of the emotions of the characters. I look forward to more from both of them.

Answered prayers and come true dreams.

“Life on earth doesn’t get much better than this.”
Another great romantic suspense that author and narrator bring to life! Awesome read!

Wow! This was a great read/listen!

What a well written, thoughtful story full of realistic characters with an admirable protagonist. I have gotten so tired of having love hate relationships with protagonists. Thanks, Anne. I am so looking forward to reading more of your books. Leonor, I enjoyed your narration very much, and I am a touch on the picky side. I’m kinda quirky. However. Your fabulous reading whipped my quirks quite handily.

I highly recommend this dynamic duo! 😉

Suspense and Romance...who wouldn't like this!?

When the judge starts receiving threatening notes, everyone is a suspect. I enjoyed how the author builds the story, allowing us to get to know the characters and the 'whys' of the story. I especially enjoyed how her mother is there to help her raise her twin boys. The Lord is prevalent in the story, but not 'in your face'. Just there, as He should be.
I listened to the audiobook version of the story and Leonor A Woodworth is an excellent narrator. She doesn't 'read' the story, she 'tells' the story. Big difference!
I HIGHLY recommend!

Good narration, good story.

Any additional comments?

Story is more relational than mystery, but still a good story. Good narration.
