Publisher's Summary

We all have a relationship with self-sabotage, a tendency to put barriers in the way of our progression and our happiness - at home and at work, both on and offline.

Sabotage is an audiobook about challenging these behaviours, digging a little deeper into why that unhelpful voice can creep up on us. Procrastination, jealousy, inner critic: how can we overcome these obstacles? How do we stop getting in our own way?

Exploring real-life stories of success and setbacks from leading cultural voices, Emma Gannon searches for experiences, solutions and ways to look differently at what's really holding us back.

This is the audiobook you need to slay your own sabotage.

The End Credits Caught Me By Surprise

The books is very short, the narration impeccable (Emma Gannon was born to narrate), the content needs more structuring and emphasis in the right places.

I was waiting for the life-changing message to be revealed and suddenly I was getting the end credits.

Easy to listen to and digest

From the first few words, this audio book had my attention. Emma's voice helped. She came across as sincere. No patronising, no preaching. This good advice and guidance from personal experience.

Relatable on so many levels

I loved this short audiobook. I suffer with Imposter Syndrome quite a lot, and this audiobook said everything I've needed to hear. There are some great tips on being more self aware to try and stop yourself spiralling with self sabotage. We use the positive intelligence quiz which looks at how you self sabotage, and this book pairs perfectly with it. Love the references to Brene Brown as well, this book really was on my wavelength. Loved it.

A great reminder. Easy listen. Wish it was longer!

I love everything Emma puts out into the world and this is no different. I know I’m in my own way so often, and sometimes it’s difficult to know how to break free.

I will be relistening and making notes or perhaps buying the book version as a reminder.

Emma’s voice is easy to listen to - great to have on in the background when getting ready or doing household chores! Lots of gems. I only wish it was longer.

Sweet Gems

Someone recommended a long walk to read this little gem. I enjoyed listening to Emma, and found wisdom in many things she shared. I actually wished it was a wee bit longer because I enjoyed the topic and Emma's way of exploring it.

Very useful

I made notes while I was reading this book, so I could come back to them later. It really helped me look at things in a different light and ask myself some difficult questions which will help me in the future. Thank you :-)

Did not get through it.

My opinion is from what I heard it was very good but I listened to it at bedtime and fell asleep.
However, It was good enough to make me want to go back to it and want to buy more of your books.
