Editorial Reviews

Suspense is a thrilling new radio series that dramatizes some of the most suspenseful old-time melodramas originally told from stage, screen, radio, and in fiction.

In the quirky and funny Suspense, Episode 6: Gag Reflex, two old-school Jewish comics, performed with a curmudgeonly wit by Daamen Krall and a fast-talking, tell-it-like-it-is style by Elizabeth Gracen, are working the Catskills circuit when they are abducted by aliens, where they are forced to perform their best one-liners in "The Games" for an arena full of otherworldly critics. And they better be funny, too. Only humanity’s survival is at stake.

Publisher's Summary

A pair of Borscht Belt comics find themselves kidnapped by extraterrestrials and forced into competition in an arena. At stake: their lives...as well as those of the entire human race. Also stars John C. Alsedek.

SUSPENSE is a revival of 'radio's outstanding theatre of thrills', which ran from 1942-1962. Featuring a mix of original scripts and adaptations of pulp-era short fiction, all performed by our crack company of Hollywood talent, this new version of an old classic is well-calculated to keep you in...SUSPENSE!
