Good for the basics

You certainly won't become a master in just 9 chapters of an audiobook trying to learn to code in SQL. This book was actually really good for reviewing the basics for when you're just getting started.

For example, if you just now learning how to program using SQL, learning and implementing the fundamentals at the computer while bolstering your understanding with this audiobook is a great way to stack the two together. There's a lot of time while at the gym or driving the car where this actually helped reinforce what I had already learned.

A good start

I wanted to listen to this because it had been a while since I last touched a SQL database and needed a refresher. The book is good, it assumes that you don't know anything about databases which is perfect for its intended audience. Overall the content is good and the hands-on projects are a nice touch. The audio version needs an attached PDF because it references figures that are in other editions of the book. Was less than impressed with the narrator. I received this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review.

A nice introduction to SQL

I have existing knowledge of SQL. This book doesn’t really expand on my knowledge but it did give me some fun projects to try. The narrator’s voice is a little too slow but can easily be fixed by speeding up the book. I received this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review.
