The annual Hollow Creek Farms Halloween festival is a perfect autumn dream. For Adam, it’s a precious chance to make memories with his two children. But the perfect night is shattered by the arrival of an unnatural storm, trapping everyone on the isolated farm.

When the rain begins to fall, so does the silence. It starts with a twitch. A crack. From deep within the farm's prize-winning pumpkins, something ancient and hungry begins to hatch. Thousands of them.

Now, the festival grounds have become a hunting ground. The cheerful lights that once promised fun now illuminate a frantic fight for survival against a skittering, swarming horde of arachnid horrors. Trapped with a handful of other survivors, Adam must protect his family from an enemy that is everywhere at once. As the creatures grow larger and bolder, the dwindling group must find a way to escape the farm before they are devoured by the eight-legged nightmare that rose from the patch.

An interesting fall horror story. Short so there’s not too much fluff. Exactly what I was looking for

Fun

This is not a long wordy Stephen King book that wanders on an on for hundreds of pages then suddenly ends when it has enough contracted words.

This title is fun, imaginative. It takes the listener on an exciting adventure. This is more like tremors than The Thing. It is perfect for a morning commute, watching your kids practice sports, if you have to attend an event that an ex is also attending. It is pure escapism. Listen to this title, better yet buy it.
