The content is great if you are brand new to the world of SEO. The information is provided in a very simple, easy to understand and straightforward way. I recommend it for anyone who is struggling to understand what SEO is used for. If you are looking to start a blog that can easily be monetized this will be a useful guide for getting started.

***Pros and Cons that I ran into with this audiobook, but primarily with the Audible software: Overall, the book is fantastic and chock full of useful information, as George Pain’s books usually are. However, I tried the Audible App for the iPhone, the App for PC, and even on the Amazon Fire TV Stick and every one of them had no labels for the Chapters. Instead of showing “Chapter 1 – Preface, Chapter 2 – Introduction” and so on, the content was just listed as “Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc…”. Consequently, what is called Chapter 1 in the playlist is not really the beginning of the audiobook’s content. The actual content could be in another chapter because of all of the introductions at the beginning of the file. As you might imagine, this can make things extremely confusing if you need to go back and re-listen to a certain passage or chapter. I had to go to the sample eBook on Amazon to see just the basic layout of the book and generally where to look for content that I wanted to revisit.

The good thing about the Audible app is that you can do useful things like slow down or speed up the narration. This is extremely helpful, especially if you want to really absorb all of the detailed information given. As someone with a disability, I was very disappointed that the Audible app had no way of displaying a text subtitle like Closed Captioning (CC). For me, this would have been extremely helpful in following some of the content described but in a visible form. I highly recommend a feature in Audible that allows you to place bookmarks with notes and tag words at areas you discover are important and want to revisit later! Lastly, there is no physical way to “search” an audiobook in Audible like you can with an eBook. Consequently, in the future, I will be buying the eBook versions of new titles whose subjects are instructional or reference-type books. I thought audiobooks would be a breeze and you just play and listen. It just didn’t work for me mainly because of the comprehensive subject matter. Stopping frequently to create and label a bookmark is laborious and time-consuming.

This was one of the first audiobooks that I have listened too, especially via Audible. It was a different way to learn and would be great for those with long work commutes, people that travel a lot, or while doing activities where you need your hands free. I was extremely impressed with the breadth of content and information given about utilizing SEO techniques for your Blog. Given this, make sure you listen when you have time available to focus because it is full of useful information.

All in all, this book is for you if you are looking to make money (monetizing) your online activities on websites like social media accounts and primarily your blog(s). Get it today…..just skip the audiobook, go for the eBook instead, and start generating extra income!

As a blogger, I'm always looking for additional ways to grow my blog and readership. This audio book was very informational and gave me easy to follow ideas on how to use SEO with my blog. This is a good audio book for new and experienced bloggers.

A good place for bloggers to start

I think this short audiobook does a good job of introducing a very important element of blogging to anyone interested in starting a blog, or people who want to blog better. I'm a blogger who has no background with SEO; the whole thing is so mysterious to me! But I felt like this audiobook was a good resource. I don't want to give away anything that was in the book, but I will definitely use the strategies in my future blog posts. My only critique would be that having this kind of information in audiobook format makes it a little trickier to use. You must take notes while you're listening. Especially in the beginning, when we hear about different hosts and places to buy domains.
