Nice follow-up to book 1! Can't wait for book 3!
I really enjoyed the sequel to Sinful as Hell by G Bailey! Book 2, Ruthless as Hell, has Lexi going through even more obstacles and tough times. There were some really sad moments but some freaking amazing happy moments. I totally am changing my tune and say Nick is amazing!! He really was the best change and did a good job being there for Lexi when she needed it. Claus on the other hand needs to be Gibbs-smacked upside the head. Morgan I think is going to take my heart in Book 3 after what he did in book 2 (and not just at the end). Oh and I want his familiar for myself haha. Javier's story I think really made this book flow nicely and added that additional dimension. And I loved Seeing Sera again. I can't wait for the to end how they should. I think Lexi is one of my favorite characters of G Bailey, for being strong but selfless. I will say I felt like a lot of the questions could have been answered earlier if she had just told the guys the prophecy she saw with Lucifer and the seer person. It was pretty easy to figure out once she mated with one of the guys (no, I won't tell you which was first muahaha).
Narration was great in this one as well, good job Lauren! She broke my heart when the scenes about her parents. She really embodies Lexi and the other characters, especially during the special POV moments. I still don't love 100% her accent for Morgan, but that's small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. I think her best is actually Lillith haha.
100% recommend these books in this series! I love that they arent super long, about medium size, and are easy to listen to. If only book 3 was already on audio hahaha. I already am 65% done book 3 and I started the morning. Thats how great this storyline is ❤️❤️

That ending!!!
Just finished and HOLY CRAP! What an ending! Can't wait to read the next book. Wish it was on audible but I will have to read the book or wait.

Bad narration for teen characters
DNF audio... after disappointment with the narration of the 1st book I didn't want to listen to this one in audio but thought perhaps I could withstand it while cleaning the house. I just can't. The drawn out way the narrator talks and the overly dramatic performance keeps me from even liking the characters. This book will have to be a read only.
