"Ema, give me your hand." These were the words Jesus spoke to Ema on Christmas Eve--the night He straightened her crooked foot, hand, neck, and spine, and restored her mobility.

Easter weekend, eighteen years earlier, an ordinary workday turned into a nightmare when Ema McKinley passed out and was left hanging upside down in the storage room.

Rather than improving, Ema's body became progressively bent and disfigured. Doctors diagnosed Ema with reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), an extremely painful trauma-induced disease which led to Ema's hand and foot deformities, painful sores, insomnia, gastrological distress, curvature of the neck and spine, heart and lung failure, and permanent confinement to a wheelchair.

Once an athletic, powerhouse woman with multiple jobs and volunteer positions, Ema became a modern-day Job who lost everything except her faith and desire to trust God more fully. Ema wrestled with pain, anger, and unforgiveness, but now takes the listener on a healing miracle encounter of Biblical proportions.

This book tells me two things,1)He is still doing miracles and2)God does care for hurting people.

God is good ...all that time God is good

As person with a disability, I can relate with Ema in many ways, and this book has given me hope, inspired me, reminded me to “keep my eyes on Jesus,” to try to be more like Jesus and to never give up.

Great testimony

It was so amazing to hear how Jesus showed up for this woman. After all of the years of anguish and pain, she always kept her faith in Him. Her positive attitude inspired me.

Every person needs to hear this book!

This book is astounding! If you have any issues that need love and healing, this book is a must listen. Life changing!

Proof for the Non-believer

This is a story that needed to be told. Didn't even have to leave the planet to meet Jesus. And, the same thing happening in the Book of Luke...incredible.
If you don't like people that talk Jesus a lot, this may not be for you. If anyone has good reason to talk Jesus, she certainly does. Not wild about the narrator.

One in a million

The author "Cheryl" recommended her book to me while we spoke over the phone- trying to answer questions she had. I took it very simple and just purchased the book there and then.

I must definately say I am happy I own this title. The book is so emotionally driven and motivational.

The way Ema manages to keep strong in the Lord though her roughest times is just unbelievable. She encourages my faith and when I think everything is going too bad for me, I remember that Ema endured it worst than me for almost 19 years and still manages to hold the faith.

The narrator was also perfect for the book. "A swear she tun up til she buck and the book up like 7"

I would read this book again and again, especially when I'm down.

My spirit and heart rejoice in His faithfulness

Would you listen to Rush of Heaven again? Why?

Again and again! I will never get tired of rejoicing in God's faithfulness and every time I listen to the story it reminds me of how wonderful my God is and how much He loves us!

This book can be gut wrenching at times and hard to digest as Emma goes through all of her struggles and pain, but, if you are looking for a modern day miracle, YOU FOUND ONE.
