May I return or exchange?

This book was on the list for my group group, but not until I had started listening to it did I realize it is for young readers or mothers of teens. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this book ... in fact it’s probably a very good read for middle school children and their parents. But I’m an old grandma and do not enjoy it. I hope you will allow me to return this book, or exchange it for something else. Thank you.

Right in between “Wait, what just happened?” And “🤯”

This book is amazing. AI love the plot, and how the author fully supplies you with information without making your head explode. The reader was enjoyable to listen to, and whenever I had to stop listening, I couldn’t wait to start again.

Great YA story

I will giver you a teaser...the publishers of this book sued a major movie mogul for ripping off their story. This version is the better one. :)

Racial issues

I did not appreciate the way the black people in the story were referred to as " negros . It also says that she was taught that black people could or would never be as smart as white people. Last but not least, it says, Jessie was disappointed when she saw that the black women were not dark skin with curly hair. The racial stereotypes are not acceptable or appropriate. They also were not appreciated - at all.
