"I've said this before, and I'll keep saying it - Michael Ledwidge is the real deal! You'll thank me for getting you to read Run for Cover. I read it in a day. Great characters, great storytelling, great Ledwidge." (James Patterson)

The next installment in the pulse-pounding Gannon series, featuring murder, intrigue, and a deadly new mystery that may just be his last....

Fresh from a lethal entanglement with some of the deepest and darkest players in the global intelligence services, Michael Gannon heads to the safest place he can think of: deep in the wilds of Utah on the ranch of one of his oldest and closest war buddies.

But when his friend’s brother is found dead in the rocky foothills of Grand Teton, Gannon realizes there are some things more important than keeping your head down. Is his death just one in a string of grisly murders mysteriously occurring around national parks - or a part of something even more sinister?

Flushed from cover, Gannon soon finds himself teamed up with tenacious FBI agent Kit Hagen on the trail of a dangerous mystery and a head-on collision course with a ruthless killer whose skills at war are as deadly as they come.

Nonsensical

The storyline is all over the place.

The narrator’s performance of women is terrible; they all sound like dim-witted.

More true to life than we want to know

Very good story. Writing isn’t the best but adequate. I guess the author just used a very likely scenario & just changed the names from Joe & Hunter , George & Bill.

Good Listen

Some reviewers panned this installment. The start of the book was a little disjointed…but as the book developed, I thought the author did a good job. Did I enjoy it as much as the last installment, perhaps not, that is just a personal thing….but I thought it was good. The characters built up as the story went on and the action really ramped up….it’s a good listen that was well narrated. Solid 4 star….

Poorly researched, not nearly as good as first book

I enjoyed the first book, and was excited to listen to the second. The narrator is great, no issues there.

There’s far less character building here, and even the action isn’t well written. Also - Macs in a SCIF? Any federal employee using a MacBook as their work computer? No. Just no. It’s like the author took the elements from the first book and shuffled them, without actually putting any thought into it. A lot could have been done, but it wasn’t.

maybe considering current events

while I have enjoyed your two books considering the events with Trump and the widespread mistrust of government there by perhaps your plots baby more focused on less government conspiracies and more on other drivers of action rev David Springer 73 years old

good story. needs a researcher

interesting plot and engaging charachters. as a note, not everyone is a "hick" or a "redneck". For the love of all things, please get a reaearcher! the mistakes in details yanks the listener/reader out of the story. a better editor would help too.
