If you could sum up Rumpole’s Last Case in three words, what would they be?

Best ending imaginable

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Hard to say without spoiling it all for others. Sorry.

Which character – as performed by Patrick Tull – was your favorite?

Silly question. OK,,um Rumpole?

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Jeez. Rumpole, First Blood?

Any additional comments?

Yes. This is my real recommendation/review. I've been a fan of Rumpole for about forty years and I had never heard/read this before. I'm so very glad that I finally did. A wonderful last chapter that would please anybody; particularly fans. Perfect.

Excellent finish to a classic series.

Loved it. Narrator made for a very enjoyable read. Reminded me of the TV actor.

Extremely good rendering of the musings of Rumpole that immerses you into the world of the English courts and law offices.

Rumpole always guilty of providing mirth...
