It will purify your mind and make you eat a pie!

My professor at film school taught us that movies should lead to purification of mind and soul. This book achieves it so effortlessly, but not without pain. I had to pause, repent and reorient my heart with every chapter. When I finished the book I was different than when I started… I was nourished and felt hunger for more at the same time.

The pages are written with a hospitable heart, which manifests in the description of the Café Now and Not Yet, where you are invited to take your place at the table and join the thought experiment. It is almost like a play you become part of. A very creative and generous way to invite the reader into participation of building this new country. I was there!

I think that the main potential of this book is that it leads toward action in pursuing goodness and not only because you know you should, but because you earnestly long to.

Come, read, it will baptized your imagination and give hope, that even in our broken world there is such a beautiful vision for a better life.

Only warning before reading it… this book will make you crave a pie (cherry pie, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, blueberry pie, chocolate pie,...) and company of friends to digest the deep thoughts with. Get some friends, get a good pie of your choice and then you are ready.

Marsh Moyle has put together one of the most thought provoking books I’ve read. We live in an era of moral relativism and as the Book of Judges says in the last verse: Everyone does what they think is right in their own eyes.
This is not the life we were supposed to have or supposed to live. We have a Creator who is outside the creation but who seeks a personal relationship with the created. How would our world be if we treated each other rightly and without evil even if you didn’t believe in God and just lived by the words of the Book. There are rumors of a better country We are exiles just passing through
I met Marsh years ago just as the Wall came down and I spent a week in then Czechoslovakia with him and my brother in law and Edith Schaefer and 40 or 50 or so of Christians who were seeking a new life after the Fall of Communism. I don’t know him well but I know he has written truth from his heart. Great Book!

Outstanding as an Audio Book

Loved the sound effects of the European cafe. It made the book interesting and compelling. Felt more like a theatre production.
