Wasn't sure about Episodes

What can I say? The Great Falls Academy series has given us an opportunity to see what happens after the Happily Ever After ending of a series. I think doing this in episodes is a great concept and Alex has not let us down. I am thoroughly engaged in wanting to know more.

Victoria Mei's ability to bring Lorelei's voice as well as her men's voices to life is so great. She did great narrating the Power of Five and now, Great Falls Academy seems to be well performed as well.

Looking forward to more episodes.

Great story!

Very good story line. Takes up where the Power of Five leaves off. Can't wait to listen to the next installment.

Intriguing story

I really enjoyed this, it was very intriguing and kept me hooked wanting to find out more. I've only read the first book in the Power of Five series so while I knew a bit about all of the characters, I wasn't overly familiar with their previous journey. You can read this without first reading the Power of Five series but I liked that I already knew them and a little of how they came together. I liked the twist and i'm really interested to see more.

I really liked Victoria Mei's narration. I originally wasn't fond of some of her characters voices but they grew on me and I ended up enjoying it.

5 stars BUT...

Going into this series, I knew it was a novella. I read the previous serious, so once more not a surprise. As much as I enjoy a novella every now and again, this is a series of novellas that, in the end, completes a full book. As much as I understand the explanation in the beginning, as to why the author has chosen to do this, this is THE one thing I do not like, therefore making me want to give it less than 5 stars, but I did because I have and still do really love these books, and am very happy that she is doing a continuation. This month by month thing, is another BLAH in my opinion. I mean seriously, just write the full book all at once, and stop torchering your readers. I do recommend these books, if you're into reverse harem, but be cautioned of what I have written, as you will be spending a butt load of credits for a freaking novella. So, yes I did give it 5 stars, as the story deserves it, but because I am aware that the author could make this into a book, it make me want to give it one star, only due to pissing me off. So, here is waiting for novella number two next month. Do I recommend it, again yes, but only if you are willing to spend your credits on it, otherwise DO NOT BOTHER because great series or not, I am sure you can find something better to read that is a full book, rather that a short version, only to continue to wait for another short version month by month. I think her explanation to this in the beginning of the series, before you start listening to this, is lame and quite frankly the stupidist thing I have ever heard.
Good luck everyone, but beware of this and choose wisely.

I'm Hooked ..

I received this audio book free of any charges & in return I offer my unbiased & honest opinion in my review of Rules of Stone . This is the first time that I have listened to this author but now I'm hooked . The problem I now have is I need to go purchase more books from Alex Lidell because I enjoyed Rules of Stone so much I want more . There was many twists in this story involving Lera & the warriors that were sent to Great Falls Academy for a mission . Romance , mystery , change all had me wanting more . The absolute highlight is the narration by Victoria Mei , I liked the story & Victoria Mei was brilliant . As I said , I'm hooked , I'm looking forward to enjoying much more from this author & narrator .

Crazy good

Well this was a great book to listen too. This is the first book that I have read/listen and so far it is great. It did very descriptive of the characters. However, I feel a little lost since it is the same characters from The Power of Five Series but I do understand the chemistry of Lara and her mates. It seems as though with this series that they have a lot of to accomplish as well as re-establish their bond. So a great adventure begins. This is definitely not a slow read, it jumps right in with their mission. I definitely feel for Lara during this mission as she has to be strong and ever watchful of what is happening. The heat between her and her mates is sizzling.

Victoria Mei did a wonderful job with this book. I think she nailed the voices of all the characters. Definitely purchasing the rest of this series.

Loved this Book

This book was so enjoyable to listen to on audible. The story is strong and the characters are well portrayed! Loved it!

Short and Intriguing

So, I'm generally more a fan of longer books but I decided to give this one a try. While I'm all for romance, the sex scenes took up too much of the story for me to really enjoy everything else, even with the interesting plot and turns of events. That said, if you like a bit of steamy fantasy romance, then you'll love this.

Different Adventure

I like that these are the same characters from Power of Five but with a totally different adventure going on. The five of them go undercover but she turns out to be the only one to remember. It gets a little confusing sometimes because of the memory issue and prophecy being talked about as well but it comes together more and I feel like they are romancing each other all over again. Can never have to much romance! The characters are great and I want to know more so I am impatiently waiting to listen to the next audiobook! Victoria Mei is the narrator and she's a natural at this. Love how she brings the characters to life. She has a great voice to listen to and enjoy.

Really enjoyed!

I loved reading about this crew again! An interesting read and an exciting new adventure for our fave quint. The narration was perfect, like usual!
