Story
Cathy Matthews suffers a run of bad luck culminating in a 300-foot tumble down a French mountain while on holiday. After spending time in a hospital and an agonizing six months nursing her smashed legs, she is finally well enough to leave the confines of the family home one afternoon to cover a story for her local college newspaper, the proposed redevelopment of Becmead Wood. The area is a local beauty spot and a magical place where she spent lots of time as a little girl.

Story
The times are changing faster than Running Elk can keep up with. Every day when the Comanche wakes up, there are fewer buffalo and more white settlers invading the plains where he and his people make their home. Angered as he is by the relentless assault on the land he loves, Running Elk doesn’t think about the differences between his people and the settlers when he spots Alexandria Standish picking flowers one day. The woman’s beauty bowls him over, and Running Elk knows he won’t be able to avoid seeking her out, again and again, no matter the consequences.

Great Story!
This story hooked me right from the start. There’s plenty of mystery and suspense presented that will keep you glued to your listening device as you’ll want to find out what will happen next. The narrator, Christy Sassmen, does an excellent job in bringing this story to life. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

Intriguing supernatural story
Rowan's End was a quick little story full of suspense, supernatural intrigue and a little humor. I liked the characters and how they interacted with one another. The storyline was good but I must admit I got a little confused for a minute and had to backtrack. I received this audio book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
