Publisher's summary

This was it! The first signs of intelligent life outside of Earth! It was only a slight disappointment when the first probes to Gliese 581g determined that it had died out almost 5,000 years earlier. Dr. Kim Evans was part of the team picked to investigate what had happened to the Gliesians. Come along for a hard sci-fi thriller looking into archaeology, biology, and more on an alien world. And join Kim as she passionately works to unlock the planet's greatest secret.

Good short story - would love to have it expanded

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

This short listen is a well done story. It is a familiar theme with a direction I haven't seen before, making it a worthwhile listen.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The author is the narrator - and is a better writer. Voice acting was distracting and took me out of the story. The narration was the weakest part of the book for me.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the story and the characters. A longer format would allow for more character development and story depth. As a short story though, I really enjoyed it.
