Rose has made it to her job, but she has no idea how or when she got there. Her memory is completely blank from the time she woke up that morning, but she figures it’s no big deal. Sometimes ordinary routines are so mundane that they’re worth forgetting. She casts the strange case of amnesia aside and begins her day, only to unexpectedly stumble into supernatural trouble that will make her life spiral out of control. Tobius Bishop is the interim sheriff for Alverton County. He’s about to start his day too. As Sheriff Bishop is getting dressed, he’s thinking about the past. After all, there isn’t anything to worry about in a sleepy county where nothing happens, but as he steps outside of his empty apartment, a major problem lands right in his lap. A young man is murdered, an absolute first for the interim sheriff, and he must solve the case. But will he be able to do it?
