Sweet Story

I love reading books about the Amish. I love their simple lifestyle. This one is the second in a set of three connecting stories. It was of course about love and how one can feel about a man who has just lost his wife who is also your best friend. I liked the fact that a few sensitive comments from some older but wiser women can change one's perspective for the good.

I can’t wait to enjoy more of these beautiful books. I have read several of Amy’s books but this is the first audible book I’ve listened to. Thank you.

This book is a great read. This author is truly my favorite . Her books always have such a heartwarming storyline. Love Love love this book

emotional and how God works

love it and couldn't stopped listening to it,made cry many times.it made feel good,reminded me of God's love.

NARRATOR NEEDS TO LEARN GERMAN PRONUNCIATION!!

It’s sadly comical how this uneducated narrator pronounced the deutch words. Instead of ich liebe dich sounding like “eesh liebe deesh”, she says “ick liebe DICK”. Instead of appedeitlich sounding like “appe deet leash” she says “ape dit lick”. Many other garish mispronounced words. I imagine the company would do some due diligence and get a narrator who can accurately pronounce foreign words🙄👎👎👎

Wonderful Story

When I first started listening, I wasn't sure my heart could take it. For me this was a tear jerker. I've lost my Mom, Dad and little brother so through my own experiences I felt this story deep. Some parts were hard to get through because of it but I enjoyed it. This Audible account is in my husband's name. I listened and wrote the review, Angela Goodman

This is a second time listen for me and it all seemed almost new. Over two years ago and so glad I did this. Wishing I had a German dictionary for all the common sayings that were used.
A definite read is my recommendation, you will not be disappointed.
