Publisher's summary

Gay werewolves in Victorian London? Why yes, yes there are.

Biffy, newly minted Alpha of the London Pack, is not having a good Christmas. His Beta abandoned him, his werewolves object to his curtain choices, and someone keeps leaving babies on his doorstep.

Professor Randolph Lyall returns home to London after 20 years abroad, afraid of what he might find. With his pack in chaos and his Alpha in crisis, it will take all his Beta efficiency to set everything to rights. Perhaps, in the process, he may even determine how to mend his own heart.

New York Times best-selling author Gail Carriger presents a charming love story set in her popular steampunk Parasolverse. Featuring the long-awaited reunion between everyone's favorite quietly capable Beta and the werewolf Alpha dandy who let him slip away.

This sweet romance is full of unexpected babysitting, holiday decorations, and no small amount of pining. Look for surprise appearances from popular side characters and the occasional strategic application of italics.

The Supernatural Society novellas stand alone and may be read in any order. But if you're a stickler, this story chronologically follows Imprudence, and ties specifically to events in Timeless.

Delicate Sensibilities?

Contains men who love other men and have waited decades to do so.

I keep enjoying Gail's books

I am 6'2 230lbs, the older I get the more I look like a lumberjack, and I am probably a one or zero on the Kinsey scale. That being said I can't help but keep listening to all of Gail's books and enjoying them. Maybe it's the steampunk supernatural mixed with the Victorian ideology I don't know. All I know is now I have to start listening to her finishing school series

Resolution!

I haven’t read the series in correct, chronological, order yet, but am excited to do so. Reading them as badly out of order as I did made this particularly appreciated. They threads of these two quiet, well mannered, small statured, impeccably dressed lovers cross continents and two decades worth of events. It was past time for them to find their tethers and cement them, once & for all. Exemplary work with both the writing style & voice acting!
Brava!

So happy for biffy and lyle

I am so happy the biffy and lyle finally got to be together. I would love to see this house revisited in future books, maybe with Robin and Grace all grown up, talking about what it's like for mortals to grow up around supernaturals. Thank you Gail!!

Hoping for a sequel

I love the Parasol Protectorate stories, and the sequels, spinoffs, etc. I especially like the were characters. I also love a queer romance, especially happy ones, so Romancing the Werewolf was bound to be a hit with me. I’d love to see a sequel to this one, as Professor Lyle has been one of my favorite (and underrepresented, IMHO) characters since the original books.
Gail, I know you’re focusing on the ladies, but pleeeeaase can we have one more book about the boys?

Wonderful

Ms. Carriger delivers a wonderful story as always. The only disappointment is that it ended.
