Publisher's summary

All her life, Riley Bernard has felt like an outsider. Bullied and misused, she finds solace in her books and research. She comes to Yellowstone, hoping to learn about its ancient inhabitants, and unexpectedly overhears a strange tale about time travel from a couple of park rangers. When a mysterious box of artifacts arrives for her, she is thrust into field research beyond her wildest dreams. Taken as a boy from the only family he knew, Cameahwait is thrown into an unknown world. The Sky People spoke of promises and tales that he was chosen for something great, yet they abandoned him to find his own way in a harsh and primitive land. When he finds a beautiful woman held prisoner by his enemies, he knows she may be the key to what he's sought for 12 long years. Cam will stop at nothing to return Riley to her own time, even if it means facing those whom he turned his back on long ago. While searching for the ancient elders, the two embark on a journey of self-discovery and understanding of each other. When attraction turns to love, and Cam finally learns the truth about his past, he and Riley must make a choice to either follow their destinies, or allow an ancient evil to destroy the future of Yellowstone.

Excellent story

I'm listening to this book for a 2nd time, and it's even better than it was the first time around! I love how Peggy L Henderson intertwines her stories with pieces of the past nad the future, and gives us great descriptions so I feel like I was a part of the story. I also love how characters from previous books show up in the newer books. It's like meeting up with old friends. The narrator has a voice I could listen to for days at a time!

Outstanding Time Travel Book, Yellowston Origins!

What made the experience of listening to Yellowstone Origins the most enjoyable?

First of all, I loved reading the book which is book 6 in the Yellowstone Romance Series. Second, one of my favorite narrators, Cody Roberts was narrating it. I love his voice and the way he uses it, so you can be fully pulled into this book as you listen to him.

Any additional comments?

The Yellowstone Romance Series is my favorite series. I was sad when we reach the end with Yellowstone Deception, knowing it was the last. But the author surprised her fans by continuing the series by going back before the very first book,Yellowstone Heart Song. This is time travel at it's best. It begins in the 21st century than back to the 1700's and Yellowstone, with all it's beauty, wildness and the secrets of the Sky People.
I love Riley and Cam, our heroine and hero of this book. I like how the author wrote their personalities and it was so easy to root for their HEA. I enjoyed following their lives and all the twists and turns that make up a good book. Full of romance, adventure and suspense and heartwarming moments, it was one of Peggy L. Henderson's best and narrated by Cody Roberts, it was very hard to push the stop button when you had to come back to reality. I am looking forward to the next one. JudyE

Yellowstone Origins: Yellowstone Romance - Book 6

Yellowstone Origins is book 6 of my favorite Time Travel Romance Series. While reading this series, you'll feel as though you are traveling back in time and taking a trip through this beautiful park before humans had the chance to interfere with its beauty. If you haven’t read the other books in the series, I strongly recommend that you do. Peggy has a wonderful way of painting pictures with her words.

Daniel and Amiee are my favorite couple in the Yellowstone Romance Series but I now have a three-way tie going for the next favorite couple; Dan and Jana, Chase and Sarah and Cameron and Riley.

It is impossible not to fall in love with Cameron and Riley.

Cameron is so protective of Riley. He understands what she is experiencing because he’s gone through it himself. His empathy is very endearing and so is his ability to apologize. His noble side is so apparent in his struggle regarding his feelings for Riley. He wants to keep her but it has to be her choice.

Accident-prone Riley has to be admired for her drive and determination. Unlike Aimee, who I compare all the other women in the series to, Riley isn’t an outdoors-woman yet she rose to meet every obstacle head on.

Apart from a beautiful love story and a wilderness adventure, it was amazing to finally learn more about the mysteriously manipulative Sky People.
I am so glad to finally have the answer to why in Yellowstone Promise; Chase had to be the one to save Cameron from the mountain lion. I didn’t understand at the time why one of the Sky People just stood by and watched while Cameron was in danger.

Best Line: "The next time I kiss you, I won't stop at just a kiss, Riley. Be absolutely sure if you want me to kiss you again, because when I do, you'll belong to me, and I keep what's mine."

The only thing better than reading this series is listening to it!

Another amazing story by Peggy Henderson.

This is another beautiful adventurous story in the Yellowstone Series. It truly is the beginning of the whole adventure of this series as Peggy takes you back further in time to the very Origins of the Osborne family. I love this one as much as Heart Song and all the others. A MUST LISTEN and listen to the series in order starting with Heart Song so when you listen to this one you will know other characters and how they fit into the stories.
Thank you Peggy for another awesome story and thank you Cody for your great narration with that smooth voice and changing of voices.

You have to hear the audio version

I bought and read this book when it was released. I liked it, as Peggy Henderson's books are all so good! I have read all the books in the Yellowstone series three or more times, so I am very familiar with the series. After this book, I remember having a lot of questions and was really frustrated the next book wasn't available yet! I warn you, you will be, too!

Now, my second time reading this story (by listening, of course), I loved it so much more! Cody Roberts is amazing!! If you are considering this book, and have listened to the rest of the series, just know that the narration is much, much better. It really improves the experience of the story.

I would definitely recommend reading the Yellowstone series first. At least Yellowstone Heart Song and Deception.

This is a lengthy book with a lot of information in it. The whole story is exciting, but the ending especially! I can't wait for the next book

Amazing story, phenomenal narration!

Ms. Henderson weaves an awesome prequel to her series and Mr. Roberts brilliantly narrates the book! This is a must if you are a fan of time travel and historic romance. The characters normally come to life on paper but with Cody narrating you can feel the characters as they go through their journey.
