Narrator needs English lesson!

This book was good as far as the story went, but the narrator really needs to take a lesson or two on how to pronounce some basic words. His voice was fine but his mispronunciation of words throughout the book started to drive me crazy!
My only other gripe with the book was that the reader wades through the whole story with all the problems that the main characters face trying to be able to be together by getting Kate free from her horrible husband, clearing the way for Kyle and Kate to be married. After all they did to accomplish this, the end is basically they get the marriage annulled and since they were in the presence of a judge, he marries them, boom the end. Nothing on their first time together as man and wife or their getting back to the mountains. I was so disappointed in the ending I decided not to get the next book in the series.

Would you consider the audio edition of Yellowstone Awakening to be better than the print version?

Since I've read all of Peggy L. Henderson's e-books and really loved them, I am now listening to the audio books. To me it's another fun way to enjoy favorite books. And just like rereading a favorite book, I will be listening to the audio again.

1871 Yellowstone Kate's and Kyle's story.

Kyle Russell, son of Chase and Sarah, ( Yellowstone Redemption ) is a guide and scout for Yellowstone. On his way home, after leading a group of men through the Yellowstone Canyon area, his horse spooked and Kyle fell off into the hands of Laughing Badger, war chief of the Crow warriors and was brought back to their camp. Later, with his hands tied to a wooden pole, Kyle is desperately trying to think of a plan of escape, but he is shocked to see Laughing Badger and his warriors riding back into camp with a white woman on his horse. She appeared to be in bad shape and Laughing Badger pulled her off the horse and dragged her over to Kyle, where she sank to her knees. She looked up at Kyle with her blue eyes full of fear.....Great, Kyle thought, just what I need, someone else to save besides myself!

Peggy L. Henderson,once again swept me away, back to Yellowstone with her wonderful writing. This audio book has everything, romance, humor, danger, and suspense, plus it made me cry and I had to keep listening to see if there would be a HEA. Nick Sarando, with his beautiful narration of this audio book, made it very enjoyable to listen to. He has the talent to be able to use his voice to portray the different characters and make them so believable that they come to life. I am looking forward to the next two in the series. JudyE

If you could sum up Yellowstone Awakening in three words, what would they be?

Pain, revelation, freedom!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kyle, becuase he learns how to be his own man dispite all the pressure to be just like his dad.

What does Nick Sarando bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way Kyle really thought. You can read someone's thoughts, but Nick caught the emotion of the thoughts and stuggles that Kyle had.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but it was too long for me to sit and just listen. :(

This was a great book thatalso had a bitter sweet back ground story as you experienced the way the Osborne and Russell families had to move one from the ideal life of Daniel and Amie and yet how the family never changes even though their homes do.

Great listen!

I enjoyed this book every bit as much as the first two in the series. Admittedly it follows the same format and has a degree of predictability but it is a historical romance and part of a series so that was expected. The story and characters were fresh and engaging and it provided a welcome continuation of the Yellowstone saga. Nick Sarando did a credible job with the narration although he's not my favourite narrator.

Another great story

I loved this story and was excited that it was as good as the first 2 books in this series. I'd read this book a while back but realized I never left a review, so thought I'd read it again to freshen my memory on the story. I love how this author develops characters and you are hooked on the story from the very beginning. I always love a happy ending, and this book does not disappoint. Great story and I'm looking forward to re-reading the next book in the series.

to confusing

I really love the idea of this book but they have a woman who was abused is was abused being with a man is in with a man with such anger tendencies Was really odd throughout the whole book. She seemed weak Throughout the whole book except except for one instance.

My favorite Yellowstone story!

Truly loved the characters and how well the author developed the characters growth and love. And justice was served without much violence!😊

Yellowstone Awakening: Yellowstone Romance Series,

Although there was no time travel in this story, it was an action packed adventure.
I have a difficult time with stories that contain domestic violence. I was also not pleased that the judge who ruled in her favor didn't award her any damages for her ordeal. Her vile mother and Deveraux went unpunished for the harm they caused her. I really enjoyed the way that Kyle's family rallied around Kate immediately after finding out her secret. Kate's bit of espionage in honor of her lost love was very well written.

Great story, terrible narrator

I like the books, but the narrator is so whiny and doesn’t do the story justice. His female voices are better than his male voices. The other narrators used for the other books in this series are much better.

Yellowstone continues...

It is always a pleasure to read something from Yellowstone and catch up with the family once more.
