Tessa Von Hellengaard is a real witch. Magical spells aside, she's snarky and selfish, and the other witches in her silent spell coven are fed up with her. Their plan to reform Tessa involves taking away her magic, saddling her with 100 extra pounds, and sending her to a weight loss spa.
For good measure they call in Liam Kennedy, a charming and sexy fairy godfather, to teach her some manners. Desperate to regain her magic and determined to shed the weight, Tessa soon realizes that protecting her heart from Liam will prove to be her greatest challenge.
This is a really quirky little read. I found myself liking it despite so many things.
Tessa is a first class brat but somehow you find yourself liking her, she has such spunk! Many times you will want to shake the crap out of her! But in the end she changes her naughty ways.
Liam is sexy and oh so yummy! I'll take a hunky Fairy Godfather any day!!
Sadly this was seriously lacking in the romance. The connection felt superficial and wasn't at all endearing to me. Zero steam factor. There might have been a couple kisses but that is it!
There was a little story here but not much. It is a very light read. I wanted more of everything. It was cuteish but fell flat in my opinion.
I listened to the audio book and was not thrilled with the narrator, Robin Jester Anter. She did a nice job but her accents were splotchy much of the time. It was distracting.
It was enjoyable as long as you do not expect too much.

What would have made Witch Weigh better?
This story barely has a plot. The story line don't really hold together either, it bounces here and there. Overall the story is mushy, pink romantic soup not even Barbara Cartland would have gotten printed. It felt more like a skeleton to a story, than an actual story. The editor should have done some editing.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The performer did a mighty job to try sell this story. Her performance, and that the story was so short, was the only reason for listening to the whole "book". But even the best storyteller can make gold from led.
