Excellent listen!

LOVE this book! Great story, loved the mystery and the romance. I love 2nd chance romances, loved Lukas and Lindy’s story. Great narrator too! I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Not for me

What did you like best about Windows? What did you like least?

The narration was good. But I cant stand the hero. He is not a likable person to me.

What was most disappointing about Emily Minton’s story?

Lucas. He never really tried to make up to Lindy for his past mistakes. He just wanted to pick up where they left off as if nothing happened. He was a jerk to her ex and a just a jerk in general.

Any additional comments?

I tried but I just have a hard time when I don't like the hero. Overall I don't think it was a bad book but it wasn't the right book for me. What drew me to try this book was the narrator. So while I can't recommend this book due to content, I would definitely recommend you try another book narrated by Sophie James.

I both loved and hated it!

I hated it! I loved it! Damn you Lucas! Aww Lucas! that was me the whole entire time listening to this book. I was completely at war with myself. I love when books get me all twisted up in the story. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

quite the ride

This story took me through a myriad of emotions. Sadness, Betrayal, Hope, Love - This book really hit home for me- The struggles are very real- I thought there was a good mix of drama, steam, and mystery. I enjoyed it.

Narration was good. I would have loved a little more variance between the male and female voices but overall it was really good.

good!

This story drove me crazy at times - Lucas pretty much broke my heart with some of his actions but I liked the angst! Well written and fantastic narration! Highly recommend!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. The fact that I was gifted this book had no influence over my opinion of it
