great book

love the book and narrators it held my attention throughout the whole book suspense and romance

ugh but the story

the story line was good but so wordy. the writer used incorrect words and constantly repeated herself. at one point she made the heroine seem like an idiot. couldn't get past ch 11. the narrator whispers her dialogue and puts me to sleep.

Wyoming moving

well written. and told story, think I have to move to Wyoming. Can picture the country must have been beautiful.

Too internal

For my taste, there was a little too much internal musing and not enough action in this book. The narrator, however, was fabulous.

Not quite out of the ballpark

Good story, but parts were repetitive, like the reader could t remember details. The narrator got “breathy” where a straight voice would have been more interesting. The hero was “perfect”. Then again it is a romance with a HEA.

Narrator Johanna Parker read well. Listed as 10 hours 39 minutes; I listened at speed 2.50 for 4 hours 15 minutes. Repetitive words/phrases: "black ops" (40 times) and "operator" (23 times). Content warnings: h has a stalker; h witnessed her abusive stepfather stab her mother to death when she was 10; h father died of a heart attack 2 years before her mother's murder; h was sexually assaulted by her stepfather when she was 10; h is abducted and a bear k¡lls her captor.

Shiloh Gallagher (29) is a best-selling romance author being stalked by her former stepfather. The New York police aren't taking her complaint seriously, so she goes to Wyoming to visit a family friend. Not good for me!

This might have been good but way too much over and over! Reader was not good at all for male part!

Boring

I wasn’t a fan, I found the story to be repetitive and anticlimactic. Also there wasn’t much romance other than a couple scenes there was no relationship really just her being scared and him talking to her about it.

good read,

a Roman e author is stalked by a killer but ty he NY police dont believe her leaving he rd living in fear. shee flees to Montana where a friend owns a ranch but her past and the stalker follow her. but here her friends and the authorities believe her, especially her housemate, an x special ops. the stalker is rich and demented and the stepfather she saw brutally stab her mother go death. he is back to finish the job he started 19 years ago and her. can she be saved from a highly trained and experience hunter and tracker turned stalker?
