Narrator was excellent!

I liked how the book kept us in a bit of suspense. The narrator was one of the best. Great job!

Another Amazing Book!

Joey W Hill hits the nail on the head with another amazing chapter in the series. All the characters are fresh, interesting, and original. The book isn’t simply BDSM with filler material thrown in to tide the reader (listener) over. Willing Sacrifice shows us a very interesting POV from Janet, a female Domme. I had a few minor quibbles with some of the plotting in later portions of the book; a minor quibble with Marcy’s character (already established in the previous book). Willing Sacrifice is well written, paced and plotted very well and engaging.

Three-and-a-half stars

Once again we dive into the K&A world and this time it’s their formidable admin who falls in love. I was a tad disappointed in the story because I don’t think the Domme part is highlighted enough. But I loved to return to the ‘boardroom knights’ and get updates

Joey W.Hill doesn’t disappoint!

I have been reading Joey W.Hill for years and she draws you in with good character development, story lines which are interesting and hot sex scenes. I look forward to her next book.

THEY MAY HAVE BEEN WILLING.. I WAS TEMPTED TO STOP

I must admit that this was well written.... however it just didn't work for me. I like the Alpha Heroes in a story to remain Alpha but in this book Max the ex Navy SEAL was constantly chasing and adapting for Janet the Heroine who was a very dominant dislikeable Dom. Both characters had a terrible event in their pasts which still haunts them today and was partly to blame for the Janet's personality but Max was thoughtful, sensitive and loving.

However, I didn't feel any romance until the very end but rather lots of very hot BDSM sex which, in parts, went way way over the top for me and without the romance it was just brutal and raw and I eventually skipped over some sex scenes. There was a bit of tension and excitement at the end but it was all too late by then.

Worth a credit? This is book 6 in The Knights Of The Boardroom series and, although it could be a stand-alone listen, it does contain all the couples and characters from those previous books which aren't (as I write this review) yet available on Audible. The narrator was ok but the total lack of mutual romance compared to the overload of some hardcore and shocking sex made me regret purchasing this..... so NO IMHO, not worth a credit.

not for me

I loved the previous books with Alpha male Doms. This book has a female as the Domme. I loved that Max was a strong Alpha male, but I hate seeing those type of characters in a submissive role. Even though Max wasn't a true Sub, he made himself so for Janet. Any books with the female as the Domme doesn't float my boat. I initially was going to skip this book, but after reading reviews about how the relationship was balanced, I was hoping for more. There was no balance in this book. Janet was a Domme and Max had to adapt. Would have been way better if there was give/take rather than one changing for the other.

Willing Sacrifice is the sixth book in the Knights of the Board Room series by Joey W. Hill. I chose this book because it is out of my comfort zone. I like male domination stories not female domination stories. However, I was very surprised with this story. While this is this is part of a series it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.

Janet has a nickname of Ice Queen. She has been hurt in ways while on one hand is realistic but on the other hand is hard to believe someone would do that to another. She is a wonderful combination hard and soft. Max really makes this story. While Max is no sub, not now nor in the future will he ever be. He seems to enjoy Janet meeting her needs and indulging him with his after.

The chemistry between Janet and Max is explosive. The sex between Janet and Max is off the charts. I enjoyed the compromise Janet and Max came to so they could be together. I enjoyed that Janet respected Max, his needs and met her own needs as well.

The complaint i have is that I didn't like G. C. VonCloudts voice for Max. This really did interfere with the story for me as I just couldn't picture such a strong man like Max with the voice she used for him. He should of had a lower and more powerful tone. Her voice for Max and the picture in my head Clashed,- big time....
