Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA TODAY best-selling author Terry Towers.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Not always....

After being left at the altar by her high school sweetheart, Genevieve Fennel is done with love, done with romance, and done with men. Period. She's always been a good girl, while her friends indulged in casual encounters, and they seem happy and satisfied enough. So why can't she?

Meeting NYPD officers Dane and Graham Porter in Vegas gives her an opportunity to be the bad girl she thinks she needs to be. After a night of passion, she finds herself embarrassed of her wanton behavior, but takes solace in the fact she can put the night behind her once she returns home.

Back in New York, just when she thinks she can forget what happened in Vegas, destiny shows it has other plans. When there's a break-in at her boutique, it's the sexy-as-sin Porter men who are sent to her rescue intent on stirring up the feelings of abandon she's trying to forget.

How can she forget what happened in Vegas, when the two men who brought her to such heights of pleasure refuse to let her go so easily? Even if she does decide to open her heart to them, how can she make a choice between the two amazing brothers, both intent on winning her affections? Or maybe she doesn't have to....

Don't Read The Publisher's Summary-It Spoils Right

Don't Read The Publisher's Summary-It Spoils Right Away-Unlike My Careful Review :-)

Hold on!!! After being jilted at the altar Genevieve's decided to use the prepaid, nonrefundable, Las Vegas honeymoon alone. Insisting that she stop feeling sorry for herself, she dresses to the nines and goes down to the hotel bar/casino.

Soon she is approached by the devastatingly handsome, NYC cop named Dane. Tired of being the "good girl" she decides to allow herself a one night a casual encounter.

The weekend unfolds with a big surprise! I'll let YOU learn more on that!

She returns to New York and her boutique. Shortly after, the shop is broken into and the NYPD officer who shows up is none other than Dane - the same one from the casino in Vegas!

It's hot, I do mean a hot sexy romance. This listener, as Genevieve, juggled with the decision of being a good girl, a bad girl or maybe a little bit of both.

If you are into hot, sexy, contemporary, romance, I think you will thoroughly enjoy this. (Please see my note below)

Narrated by Meghan Kelly – my favorite female narrator. In the four years I've been listening to audio books, Meghan makes the story come to life. She is a master performer and never disappoints.

Notes: For the 18 year and older crowd. Because of mature/sexual content and strong language.

*I received this book in exchange for my review. This is nearly 5 hours of sexiness – if this is your thing, snatch it up. You won't regret it.

Great Short Listen

The narrator kind of threw it off with the voices, but other than that it was a really good short erotic listen.

Moral of the Story: No sleeping with brothers.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I think this book is for people who are into taboo romances between brothers and a girl. It is not my taste of books and I wouldn't recommend it if they aren't into that genre of books. However, for those who are into these types of books I would recommend because they may enjoy it.

Would you ever listen to anything by Terry Towers again?

I am not sure I would listen to anything by Terry Towers and I would have to see what other books she writes to decide if I will read any more of her books.

What does Meghan Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Meghan Kelly really helped bring the story together. If I had read this story I probably would not have finished it. However, while listening to the story I felt like it brought a little more to the story and really pushed me to finish it. I would definitely listen to more books narrated by Meghan Kelly.

Did What Happens in Vegas... Doesn't Always Stay There inspire you to do anything?

What Happens in Vegas...Doesn't Always Stay There only really taught me that it is best to not sleep with twin brothers because a lot of drama will occur.

A steamy and taboo love triangle.

The book has moments that are extremely hot. The narration is good although it could use a little more inflection at times. At some points there are very noticeable edits. Overall I enjoyed the book and didn't stop listening till it was over.

There's a first time for everything...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If my friends are into romance novels, absolutely. I went into this book semi-blind, as I have never read a romance novel until What Happens In Vegas. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed the performance and story.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I think the most interesting part for me, a "virgin" of romance novels, was my own shock at how fast things picked up, and how real the events progressed. I think the most interesting aspect of the story deals with the concept of identical twins. Least interesting, I'd have to say was the aspect of fashion within the novel, but I am also a fashionless reader who belongs on a reality TV show for a new wardrobe.

What does Meghan Kelly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think it goes without saying that Romance novels on audiobook are definitely unique in their performances. Because I wasn't expecting the romance to be so... upfront, it startled me at first. I think Kelly does a wonderful job both in the romance aspect of many scenes as well as the narration throughout the book's story line. She doesn't overstretch the masculine voice, and comes off as a believable voice for both Graham and Dane.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I blushed, having entered the audiobook realm of romance novels. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was entertained!

What Happens in Vegas

I was listening to this book but not totally focused on it until we met Graham and then things got really interesting and my attention went solely on the story. I am a huge fan of love triangles as long as I'm not actually part of one. I was kind of expecting the story would go in a different direction than it did but I loved it either way. Meghan Kelly did a great job bringing this story to life.

This story was the perfect package (pun intended)

What made the experience of listening to What Happens in Vegas... Doesn't Always Stay There the most enjoyable?

What happens in Vegas a a novella about Geneviieve, a vulnerable woman who has been left at the alter, She decides to take the honeymoon solo, and hooks up with one man only to realize he has a twin. Lots of sex ensues.

What was one of the most memorable moments of What Happens in Vegas... Doesn't Always Stay There?

Well I personally loved the first sexual scene of Genevieve's meeting with twin #1.

Have you listened to any of Meghan Kelly’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to meghan kelly's performances before--she is perfect for erotica with her sweet, melodic, and sensual voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

One of the things I enjoyed about this story was the realness of it. Genevieve was vulnerable, and that made her sexuality more vibrant.

Communication break down

This is a cute story about, cocky boy meets broken girl and his brother.
She's not sure which brother she wants and is conflicted and the two brothers are both vising for her heart.
Everyone has baggage and who she'll pick of the two brothers remains to be seen.

The story is ok, it didn't grab me but it wasn't horrible. Meghan Kelly identifies each character with pitch and empathy communicating each characters sass and attitude.

Terrible narration

This book was just ok. I agree with other reviewers that the description of the book is not exactly what you get. I however am not disappointed in that. I liked that the melange actually turns into a twosome especially since the story is about two brothers. The story does end abruptly and I would have liked an epilogue. I have the escape package and am glad it was included with that. I would have been disappointed if I wasted a credit on it.

3.5 Steamy Stars!

This is a first from this author for me, 3.5 stars for me.
Ok, so I loved this type of what happens in Vegas stories. They are always fun and a great time filler. This is no different.

Genevieve had her heart broken, so why not take advantage of non-refundable tickets.
She meets Dane and Graham, both NYPD officers, it’s surely is a small world considering she is from New York and owns a shop there. Having a fling never goes as expected or thinking anything will come of it. A fling is supposed to be just that isn’t it?
Genevieve finds herself in a position of needing the NYPD and who should walk back into her life?

You got it this is a great read esp if you’re looking for something light heart'ed and swoon-worthy that will steam up your ears! Can I get more, please!
