A sweet listen for someone needing a giggle

I downloaded this to try a new author and was pleasantly surprised with the wit and fun phrase turning. There are some parts that could use a little more delevopment, but all in all- if u want a romance without porn-style sex scences and a bit of mystery- give this story a try.

great story, but too fast

I love Jennifer Cruisie's books, and this is one I've read over and over. Audio books just make it easier for me to enjoy these characters on the go. however, this narrator is really fast. it felt like she was rushing through most of the book, so the story lost some of its quality as a result.

Great book, better audiobook

I've always loved this book, and listening to it via audiobook was a great way to experience it for the first time again. Definitely recommended!

Interesting characters, snappy dialog, realistic dog.

If Jennifer Crusie can be said to have a formula this is it, fortunately it's a formula that I would buy over and over again. This book fulfils that formula and then some (you will never look at a water tower the same way again).

Not a perfect story but definitely a five star story

One of the books I re-listen to every so often.

Fun listen

This is my first listen for this Author. I felt the story was great, and I loved the wit. I would have given it 5 stars except I felt the author could have been a bit smoother in the conversational transition. It was a bit elementary in that after each statement she would put "Phin said" for example. Other than that tiny annoyance it was a fun story, unique and well read. I will purchase books from this author again.

Fun read

I just finish listen to Welcome to Temptation. I was a little hesitant to get the book when I saw the reviews about the narrator. The1st hours was a little difficult to listen to, Aasne Vigesaa seem to be in fast forward especially in the none speaking part ??? but after that she calmed down. This is my 2nd Jennifer Cruise books and I thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as Maybe This Time. I enjoyed the connection between Sophie and Phin ??? you knew right from the beginning they would stay together.

I’ll admit, I’m already a big fan of Crusie, so I was SO glad when the audiobook proved as good as the novel. She writes such smart characters, snappy dialogue and believable plots and romantic entanglements. The narrator does a good job distinguishing between characters and has a pleasant voice, to boot. 10/10 would recommend!

Good fun

Good fun, the narrator spoke a little fast for me but not intolerably so. The different characters were easily distinguishable in the narrator's performance. Enjoyed the lively characters, snappy dialogue and small town setting.

A great listen

Welcome to Temptation is on my list of top listens for 2009. It was laugh out loud funny (which was somewhat problematic during a crowded commute).
