Fantastic!

What a fabulous ending to a wonderful series. Dylan and Ace get their much deserved happily ever after amongst all their family and friends and it was just amazing. Charlie David was stellar in this series and just brought their love out front and center and it shone through. I loved every bit of this!!!

Story good - Narration Awful

I love to listen to books, especially when I’m traveling. I’ve had to stop listening when the narrators voice grates on me. In all fairness to the entire series, I adored the characters and have listened several times, but Charlie Davis cannot differentiate voices. The transition between characters was difficult to tell who was speaking. He just read most of it. Plus his pronunciations were abysmal. For example, figure was pronounce figger and orgy with soft g was spoken like orgy with a hard g. These are just two, but this happened throughout. I couldn’t tell the difference between Dylan and some of the female characters. And his foreign accents? These were embarrassing. He’s not a very good actor in general, but as a narrator, it’s just more of the same.

I love the authors in general, but the “stage” direction in this series had me ping ponging with confusion trying to visualize the scene. In my opinion, it’s not necessary to describe every action. Like: Ace turns away to walk out of the room and turns on his heels to face Dylan or the repetitive “ ache between my thighs”. Perhaps If I read them instead of listening, it would have been better.

'A' rating...

My Review:
Overall: 4.5
Performance: 4.25
Story: 4.5

The final installment to what has been a great, enjoyable, entertaining series. I've truly loved every book in this series and this final book was just as good as the other two. I'm not going to say too much about the specifics, because you just need to know that you need to read this entire series...and then reading this book will be a given.

I loved everything about the conclusion...the bachelor trip, the planning, the clueless grooms, the final place of where they ended up both personally and professionally. I've fallen in love with these two guys and watching them fall in love with one another brought me so many hours of happy reading. This book had me both laughing and crying.

Simply put...I loved it! And you need to read the whole series if you haven't. It's wonderful!

Happily Ever After

Would you consider the audio edition of Wedlocked to be better than the print version?

The audio edition brings to life the characters appearing on paper. The individual voices of the different characters makes the story seem more real. Although the written word helps with the visualization it just not the same with voices of the characters in the story.

What did you like best about this story?

The story was essentially a reunion of all my favorite characters from the Locke, Temptation and Sunset Cove series. It was fun to catch up where they are now and there were links back to other books, for example the bow tie in Logan's drink mentioned in Ella Frank's book Tate.

Which scene was your favorite?

The best scene was the bachelor weekend in Cabo. It was funny and again showed how the different character's lives interleaved with one another. I really enjoyed Logan and Finley meeting up again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The epilogue was the best but don't want to give it away since it would be a spoiler.

Any additional comments?

The voice performance was top notch. Charlie David does a great performance and the various voices from earlier series he read came through. Definitely a satisfying conclusion to the PresLocke series.

Locke me in!

Dylan and Ace get tbeir evwe after in Wedlocked and readers get to swoon to their heart's content.

Frank and Blaine have stolen my heart once again with these devilshly handsome men and their womderful souls.

The wedding of the their dreams (actually a lot of people's) is the perfect way to appease all the rabid fans asking for more....unless like me you want an entire book for an epilogue...

My greed aside, Frank and Blaime have once again captured my heart, my smile, and given me another HEA to enjoy.

great book. not great narration.

I don't care for this narrator. his voices aren't very distincive and he mixes them often. I know that is tricky but even his inflection, tone, & emphasis is off.
I spent the money on the audio book and now I want to read it myself so I feel like I get a better picture. that's annoying.
I really enjoyed Shannon Gunn in the Temptation series. he has his own issues but overall he paints a wonderful picture with his voice.

I loved this series

It was weird not seeing Logan & Tate not married. This was a perfect ending, except for Brenda. I wished that portion would have been taken out of the book or at the very least, putting that her in her place. God I hated her!!! That epilogue brought me to tears!!!

Good story. Good narration.

Guess what this story is all about? The title isn't hiding anything. Yep, it's already time for Ace and Dylan to take that big step. I usually hate wedding stories, but these two authors kept up enough action and humor to offset the tedious descriptions of flowers and venues. I wouldn't have minded being part of the cake tasting though...

This book was a great conclusion to the series even if I wanted at least one of the characters to get a little bit more of a comeuppance. Sigh. Getting a chance to see other characters from Brooke and Ella's series was excellent compensation.

Once again the narration was entertaining.
