Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best seller Corinne Michaels comes a sexy new standalone romance novel.

I'm not a one-night stand kind of woman. I'm especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh.

However, that's exactly where I find myself.

What's a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can. His gorgeous green eyes, rock-hard body, and cocky smile have no place in my world. My life is complicated enough.

Someone forgot to tell him that.

Eli is relentless. Pushing his way into my heart, wearing me down, proving he's nothing like I assumed, and everything I need. But when my world shatters to pieces, he holds the broken bits together. Unwillingly, I fall desperately in love with him.

He made me think we'd have forever...I should've listened when he said we could only own tonight.

"Ok, but a little too Soap Opera for me"

This is similar to other works by this author and, for me, they are a bit too heavy on drama and tears, However, it is still worth a listen- the narration is wonderful and the story line is interesting. I did grow up in the 80's but went more for metal and punk music so I did not relate to the Boy Band angle.

    "Enthralling listen👍👍"

I had no idea what a fantastic listening experience this would be. I have to give it two thumbs up and 5 stars because I absolutely loved this book! This one is for every girl who's ever had a band crush. Ever wonder what it would be like to spend one night with your famous crush? That's exactly what happened to Heather. Eli Walsh from the band Three Blocks Down was Heather's teenage fantasy. Flash forward years later when Heather is no longer "shak'in it down" at one of their shows. She's a responsible adult now who cares for her speacial needs sister, working as a cop. With her dignity to uphold, Heather's life has become pretty mundane after her divorce. Her girlfriends think she needs a night out to kick her heels up and have some fun. They all end up at a Three Blocks Down concert. Heather has a few drinks and before you know it she's singing along and professing her love right in front of the stage where Eli notices. When Heather let's her hair down and takes a trip backstage, things really heat up🔥🔥🔥 I can't give everything away, but I will say... though it starts off fun and light hearted, this one does have plenty of depth to it. It's fun, sexy, serious, and sad too. Lot's of feelings packed in this listen. I also thoroughly enjoyed the narration. Zachary and Andi both did an outstanding job!! Very rarely do I revisit a book in my library, this one however is worth coming back to.

I know some drama makes for a good story, but I couldn't even wait for this one to be over.

    "Perfect for Me!"

Once again, Corinne Michaels hits a home run with this book. She is able to create a wonderful romantic comedy that made me giggle at points, while still giving us an emotional story that brought some tears to my eyes. Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber are amazing at bringing this story to life. 5 plus stars.

    "Such an amazing story!!"

How to even begin to describe how much I loved this book. Yes it is heartbreaking dealing with serious health conditions which is ONE major reason I loved this story (it hits close to home for me with Huntington's Disease) but it is so well done. There are plenty of fluffy parts too and for all of us have seen the boy band craze it hits those times too. It's a great book with mix of romances, tears, laughs and heartache.

The performance by Andi was so well done. I love Andi as an actor but this performance was one of her best yet. She had to perform someone with HD (health condition) which can be difficult since it deals with many facets and she hit them so well. I can't say enough about the performance. She also did an amazing job hitting the emotions of that character and also Heather who is dealing with the illness. Zach of course was also spot on in his performance and complimented Andi and her performance. I love these two together and they fit so well together in this book.

    "Boy Ban swoon"

Is there a Corrine Michaels book I don't like? No. This did not disappoint. Very emotional moments with sweet and tender and thoughtful ones too. Made me a little jealous My boy band fantasy never happened but glad hers did. Andi Arndt is a fantastic narrator, she did such an excellent job with both the female and male leads, as well as with the sister. She brought the emotion to it. I enjoyed Zachary Webber's voice as well and would listen to him read a full length on his own.

    "predictable boring and safe"

I love listening to both narrators and it was why I chose this book. I'm not saying the book was awful but it wasn't great. it was honestly so boring, I kept waiting for it to get better but it just didn't. I feel like this was such a predictable and often told love story. it was hard to finish. just not for me at all.
