Publisher's summary

A housekeeper with mad street smarts collides with a supernatural bodyguard who's been sent to protect her from an underground war that has raged for centuries.

Raven leads a solitary existence, and that's the way she likes it. But the life she knows turns upside down when her apartment gets gunned down and Cain Henson steps in. Cain's been sent by a Seer who believes Raven is a woman of prophecy that can control an ancient army no one can see.

Filled with romance, magic, and a kick-ass heroine, Unmemorable will lead you on a wild adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing until the last second.

New Superpower..... A Gift? Curse?

This was great story with some interesting characters who have original "superpowers."

Some of the characters have the usual "superpowers" we've all heard of growing up from either watching cartoons, reading books etc., powers like walking through walls, seeing the future, etc. However, A.P. Jensen was very creative in this story, and the "superpower" some had was so simple, but yet very dangerous. Raven, has this power but considers it a curse while others would definitely see it as a gift. Anybody who meets Raven, cannot remember her.

Angel, the leader of a really bad group, would love to capture Raven and exploit her gifts; however, Cain has been sent to protect her. It's a good thing Cain in an excellent tracker because he will need all his skills to not only help protect Raven but keep up with her. Each time she leaves his sight something bad seems to happen.

Cain is the first person to remember Raven, and their feelings for each other ignite and he will do whatever it takes to protect her, even if it is from herself.

This was another great story by A.P. Jenson, and the narrator really set the tone. Anyone who loves a good romantic urban fantasy, will enjoy this story!

I received this story in exchange for an honest review, and I've already added the next book in the series to my wish list. I look forward to seeing what happens with Raven, Cain and the others.

I like the story premise but...

Ok. First of all, to the author, keep writing! I know the reviews might be discouraging but don’t give up. I see some real promise.
With that said, this book could have been (and still could be) revised a few more times before publication. The idea is interesting. A new type of supernatural that nobody knows about because that is the nature of the supernatural. I can see this going places. It has similarities in fantasy but nothing precisely like this. I hope the author is prepared to be imitated.
The writing definitely needs work. I hope the author sticks with it and works on their craft.
And please, please, please, get a new narrator. I feel like the narrator is reading the book for the first time, after being told to read to the class. Also it almost sounds like it is being read in a cave.

A new Paranormal Herione

What did you love best about Unmemorable?

Raven she is a strong no non sense kind of girl.

What did you like best about this story?

The love story between Raven and Cain. So hot!

Which scene was your favorite?

When Raven jumps out the window to save herself. Too funny!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!

Any additional comments?

I feel in love with the main characters. This is the 1st book I've listened to by A.P. Jensen but I'm hooked. Now I'm one of her newest paranormal romance fans!

The author has created a new paranormal female heroine Raven. She is hard working maid until a man comes into her life that she is not so sure about. We the readers learn to trust her savior Cain as she does. I'm not a paranormal heroine but I felt like I could relate with the main character Raven. Raven comes across as a real life person just trying hard to get by. Finding it hard to trust new people in her life after feeling lonely and left out in this world. She is an unmemorable. One of her powers causes people to forget her once she is out of their line of sight. She is the only female unmemorable in the known world.

In the story line there are two paranormal sides. Both want Raven to help control the other. She finds both are not good or bad. Just not really on her side.
She falls for her savior Cain and finally has someone that wants her for her. He falls truly in love with her. Having a best friend, a lover and a love interest in her life is very new and scary for Raven. Someone who will protect her and take care of her. When all her life she has to fend for herself. It is easy to see that she is uncomfortable with being taken care of. I think most women would feel this way. It also makes her very easy to relate too. I really wanted to listen to this book non stop.

I think if someone was looking for new and different. A.P. Jensen has a book for you. LOL I know that I'm always looking for a new series to get into. So now I can't wait to read the next books in the series.

The narrator Roni Gallimore is great. She does the sassy voice perfect and you can see Raven rolling her eyes while your listening. She made her life like and funny!

really fun!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

****I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.

Raven has lived a lonely life. She was left in a park by her mother at only one day old and then shuffled from foster home to foster home where no one cared for her or even remembered she was there. As an adult she has been going from city to city as a maid, keeping to herself, never having any friends, and that was how she liked it. At least that's what she told herself.

Enter Cain, a gorgeous man who is sent to be her body guard. He tells her she has powers. He goes on to say she is a key player in a war that she never even knew was going on, and she doesn't want to know about it...she wants to be left alone! He can walk through walls, so locking him out doesn't work, and after a Lost marathon on TV and someone who seems to not only remember her, but care about her she starts to trust him. But is she just falling for the first person to pay her some attention? Is her well being really his top priority of is she just a pawn in this war between people she never knew existed?

I loved this book. It had lovely twists and turns and the characters were great! I loved routing for Raven, who was a kick ass heroine who could most certainly hold her own! A.P Jensen is a great writer, and I hope to read more of her books.

The narration was ok. It took some time to get used to it. I think Roni Gallimore read dialogue better than the inner monologues. However, the book was so good that I just wanted to see what was going to happen next, and the narration did seem to improve as the book progressed. While she wasn't my favourite narrator, I would listen to another book she read, but I wouldn't seek them out.

This is a solid 4 star book, and I would recommend it, as it is a really fun read!

Unmemorable

Any additional comments?

Raven is a housekeeper in a hotel. She feels as if no one sees her.The fact is,they don't,because she is 'unmemorable'.This book is about Raven finding out who she is.It's a well written book. The characters are solid.I expect them to be even more fleshed out in the rest of the series.I found Roni Gallimore s narration to be good, but a bit too slow.A bit more emotion reflected in Ravens voice would be nice.

If you could sum up Unmemorable in three words, what would they be?

AWESOME, MEMORABLE, GREAT!

What other book might you compare Unmemorable to and why?

I dont want to compare it...its just super great!

Which scene was your favorite?

I like the end, when Raven is found by Cain....

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It did make me laugh, because Raven is sassy!! And I felt bad for her when she is rejected by her own kind....

Any additional comments?

**I was given a free copy of this book by the author for an honest review**

I HONESTLY LOVED IT!!! Raven has lived all her life on the run basically without knowing it...Never any friends or family, people just disregard her..she get attacked all the time, and she thinks its just because she lives in unsavory areas...she has moved all over the country trying to find the right fit for her, and always ends up back in Las Vegas...On Thanksgiving she gets attacked once again and rescued by the sexy Cain...and all the pieces of her life start to fall in to place and she finally gets some answers as to why her life has been so empty and dangerous...there is a bit of a love story and some great fight scenes and all in all this is a fabulous start to a series I will definitely continue....I hope book 2 comes out on audible very soon!! 2 Thumbs up!!!!!

Amazing and Rememberable!!

This story is wonderful and most definitely rememberable! Author A.P. Jensen has written a mesmerizing story that you won't forget anytime soon. Its packed with action, adventure, magic, loss, and even romance. The author has written a unique story about people who are called unmemborables. The main character Raven has never understood who she is. She lives a simple life, cleaning in a hotel but she's wondered why people never seem to remember her. She doesn't know that her life is in danger and on the day she's attacked, Cain Henson comes to her rescue and stays with her to protect her. There's so many twist and turns throughout this story. I enjoyed listening to this story unfold, the unraveling and mystery of who Raven is and her determination to do what she wants is great. The characters are interesting and likeable for the most part. This is a fascinating story and I promise you won't forget it anytime soon.

This is the first story I've ever listened to by narrator Roni Gallimore but I will look for other stories she's narrated. She kept my attention from start to finish. I was able to understand the story and each character was easy to identity. She did an amazing job with each characters accent. Overall, a great performance by Roni and a very intriguing story by the author. I would love to listen to more on this story. This is most definitely a 5 star rating! Unmemorable

If you could sum up Unmemorable in three words, what would they be?

This is a great audio book and a completely new and different type of paranormal. My interest was grabbed from the very beginning and I absolutely could not put it down. I had to just keep listening until I found out what happened. Looking forward to the next book in this series .

Unmemorable is Memorable!!!

Unmemorable by A. P. Jensen was a pleasant listen. A perfect 6 ½ hour listen with this steady pace fantasy romance. This book will lend itself as not being Unmemorable by a long shot. As a matter of fact, you will find yourself thinking back at the scenes throughout this book. As you reach the end of the book it will leave you wanting more. The characters are so lovable. Raven, the main character that the story revolves around. Cain Henson, the warrior sent there to protect her. His wonderfully candid grandfather. Many other characters that may not be so lovable yet hold this story together like glue.

Her main character Raven lends to the story at a nice pace. Keeping her life as private from her co-workers as possible. Yet they forget her everyday which seems odd to her. Are they that forgetful she has to remind them of her name? As a matter of fact everyone that she comes in contact with forgets who she is. They always seem to be looking for someone that does not even look like her. From the time she was a baby and left by her mother in a playground. Raven finds herself shuffled from one foster home to another. So she finds herself going from place to place across the country once she was old enough to be on her own.

Now she finds herself back in Las Vegas. A maid at a luxury resort. Sent to the Penthouse to clean and she comes into contact with Cain. That night she comes into contact with him again. This time to save her. Save her from what? This is where the story takes off in a non-ending ride to the very end.

I am not going to be a spoiler of the story except that Raven finds out that she is the Unmemorable one. For you as the reader/listener is what you will need to find out what that means. I promise if you are into fantasy with a huge splash of drama and romance then this book is for you. It took me a few days to listen through because of work. I really wanted to listen from start to finish and if I knew it was going to be this good I would have waited on my day off!

This is my first time listening to the narrator, Roni Gallimore. She did an amazing job with each and every character. Transition between the voices, the moods in each scene to just the regular dialog. She made it where you were the one looking thru a store window with your nose glue to it. You wanted to see more. This story could stand on its own but, with the sequel “Unleash” is now out (waiting on the audio) in book form. Is now on my Read List!!!

This book was provided to me by the author for a listen and review. All the views above are strictly mine and in no way was I influenced by others. I encourage you to leave a comment if you found this review helpful or not.
