Publisher's summary

It's a predator-eat-predator world for the Were-Hunters. Danger haunts any given day. There is no one to trust. No one to love. Not if they want to live….

An orphan with no clan that will claim him, Wren Tigarian grew to adulthood under the close scrutiny and mistrust of those around him. A forbidden blend of two animals - snow leopard and white tiger - Wren has never listened to anyone when there was something he wanted. Now he wants Marguerite.

Marguerite D'Aubert Goudeau is the daughter of a prominent U.S. Senator who hates the socialite life she's forced to live. Like her mother before her, she has strong Cajun roots that her father doesn't understand. Still, she has no choice but to try and conform to a world where she feels like an outsider. But the world of rich and powerful humans is never to meet the world of the Were-Hunters who exist side by side with them, unseen, unknown, undetected. To break this law is to call down a wrath of the highest order.

In order to have Marguerite, Wren must fight not just the humans who will never accept his animal nature, but the Were-Hunters who want him dead for endangering their world. It's a race against time and magic without boundary that could cost Marguerite and Wren not just their lives, but their very souls….

Would you consider the audio edition of Unleash the Night to be better than the print version?

yes ...and i perfer listining to audios books .. because i am always busy...and dont have enough time to read... but I still love reading..

What other book might you compare Unleash the Night to and why?

BURNING WILD by CHRISTINE FEEHAN.... both authors are GREAT AND BRILLIANT.. they both very good with details with the stories .. so surreal...

Have you listened to any of Fred Berman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes I have... and I think he is great.. really makes you believe and go into the story it self... great narrater....

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

yes... when WREN finds out his father is really alive... and he knows his father really loved him..

Any additional comments?

I thinkk Audible books are GREAT!!!!!!!

Still loving this series!

I loved this book almost as much as book 3, 5 and 6. I think those are still my favorite but this one is up there. I really enjoy a small break from the dark hunters to learn more a out the ware hunters. I know this book has a plot almost identical to the ones before, but that doesnt bother me. Who doesn't enjoy a HEA?

Other PRN books I think are fantastic are anything by Jeaniene Frost, Heather Hunter's Irin Chronicles (really beautifully written and narrated), Dianne Duvall's Immortal Guardian Series, Jacqueline Frank's Nightwalker Series, Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter Series, J. D. Tyler's Alpha Pack Series and Tessa Dawn's Blood Curse series (very dark take on vampires). Patricia Brigg's Alpha and Omega series is really good too, thou more just paranormal than a PRN, romance is subtle but totally worth a listen unless you require steam. Most of these are available in the Romance Package which is a bonus if you like to binge.

better

Most of these are a wash, rinse and repeat of the storyline. While this is similar overall to the others, there's enough twists that it was more enthralling than the others. However, the ending leaves you wondering what happens when soulmates are messed with.

Go-shay!!!!

I just really wish they would get the pronunciations & accents right. Being from New Orleans, it’s quite annoying. You would think they would do a little research beforehand.

A Great addition

Fred Berman's last performance (that I am aware of) in this series and he delivers. We listen as Wren goes from rags to riches in more than one way.We also get a glimpse of the ruling couniicl for the Katagaria/Arcadians and wait till you find out who their mediator is! Another great addition to the series!

Nick is amazing

Crazy to think the women he loved ended up mated to his friend. Nicks not all bad yet!
