I was born into British aristocracy, but I've made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom. Back in Britain, my family is fighting over who's the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it's me - if I'm married. It's not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman. Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I've never wanted - so I need a wife. To take my mind off business I need a night that's all pleasure.

When I’m offered the chance to leave New York to live in London for three months, I can’t pack my suitcase fast enough. As soon as I touch down, I’m obsessing over red telephone boxes, palaces, and all the black cabs. But my favorite place is the tube. It’s wall-to-wall hot British men in suits.
There are three things you need to know about Ashley Winston: 1) She has six brothers and they all have beards, 2) She is a reader, and 3) She knows how to knit. Here's what you need to know about me - I'm well-off, well-hung, and quick with a joke. Women like a guy who makes them laugh - and I don't mean at the size of his you-know-what. No, they want their funny with a side of huge, not to mention loyal. I've got all that plus a big bank account, thanks to my booming construction business. Yup. I know how to use all my tools. Enter Natalie. Hot, sexy, smart, and my new assistant. Which makes her totally off limits...Hey, I'm a good guy. Really.
The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn't exactly make a good impression. I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date. He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice. So I told him to mind his own damn business and went back to my miserable date. I couldn't help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.
Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that. Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the Internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good. But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?
I've been told I have quite a gift. Hey, I don't just mean in my pants. I've got a big brain, too, and a huge heart of gold. And I like to use all my gifts to the fullest, the package included. Life is smooth sailing...until I find myself stuck between a rock and a sexy roommate, which makes for one very hard...place. Because scoring an apartment in this city is harder than finding true love. So even if I have to shack up with my buddy's smoking-hot and incredibly amazing little sister, a man's got to do what a man's got to do.
Jake McKallister might have been a rock star, but he was no ordinary one. Surviving an unspeakable crime as a young teen had shaped him into a guarded workaholic, and he now lived his life trying to forget. If it hadn't been for music and the redemption he found through it, he might not have survived. Career success came easily for him. Personal connections did not.
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men's locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don't mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel just as I asked the first question. On camera.
Just call me Mister O. Because your pleasure is my superpower. Making a woman feel "oh god that's good" is the name of the game, and if a man can't get the job done, he should get the hell out of the bedroom. I'm talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time. I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.
Called an eccentric beast by the citizens of Amesport, Maine, handsome billionaire Grady Sinclair stays isolated in his mansion on a private peninsula. The arrangement suits Grady just fine - until an angelic woman rings his doorbell, awaking his long dormant passion with her fearlessness. All he wants is to make the fiery blonde his forever. But will he have to become the monster everyone thinks he is to get his Christmas wish?
A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
When Davis Williams, aka Pinks, sets a goal, it's done. Yesterday. His enthusiasm, ingenuity, and "git 'r done" attitude have transformed him from interloper to integral part of Team Henderson, and one crazy-hot night of vigorous out-of-town lovin' has busted him out of his nice, safe, boring persona.
Things are really taking shape for Pinks, especially when he encounters the sassy siren he can't forget. His goal now: coax the evasive Red into becoming a real part of his life. But when Pinks discovers his mysterious lover is not only intimately tied to Henderson, but his own notorious scandal as well, he realizes he's in the middle of a desperate no-win situation.
Can the man who believes Henderson is a field of dreams keep his own alive? Or has Pinks come up against the one dream he can't possibly make happen in Henderson?
What made the experience of listening to UnderDog the most enjoyable?
Having listened to all of the audio books in this wonderfully written and delightfully narrated series I couldn't wait for Pinks to find his lady love because he would always strike out with the women he fell for before. I could not have wished for a better happily-ever-after for him and I absolutely adore both him and Red. This series is awesome!
What was one of the most memorable moments of UnderDog?
I loved the scene where Piper and Pinks confess their secrets to each other. The best things about this series are the close familial relationship Pinks has with all the members of the Evans family. They welcomed him into their hearts and their home and he loves them all, especially Piper, and their loving concern for each other shines through in this scene. Be still my heart!
Which scene was your favorite?
Oh my goodness, I have so many favorite scenes in Underdog, it's hard to choose but I cheered when Pinks had to come face to face with Red's father and he made such an impressive pitch for convincing Red to settle down in Henderson. Oh happy day!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
All of the books make me laugh out loud but the magnetic voice of Charles Lawrence during the sex scenes is panty-melting! I'm a huge fan!

Liz Kelly's storytelling and Charles Lawrence's narration is a match made in heaven. This series is one of my favorite not-feeling-guilty pleasures and I highly recommend it to fans of romantic comedy. It's superb in every way!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely! Hearing it read out loud makes it feel like I'm watching a movie of the book in my head. Hearing the southern accent adds such a great "flavor" to the story as well.
What was one of the most memorable moments of UnderDog?
There were so many in this book! One of the most heart wrenching was when Pinks realized who Red was. He went over the entire situation in his mind about how it was all going to turn out, how he would hurt Hale, Vance and all his his friends in Henderson. The part where I could almost feel Pinks' pain was when he realized just how much he was going to hurt Red and it broke his heart.
What about Charles Lawrence’s performance did you like?
He is so talented in that you know exactly who is speaking because of being able to give each character their own "voice". It makes it so easy to know who is speaking without having to be told their name.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Who will be the next Hero!

This author has an amazing talent when writing dialogue in her books. The ease of the conversations comes across very well. She doesn't bog the story down with a lot of unnecessary details. With each description the reader can clearly imagine each scene as it is laid out. When describing the joy, anger, agony, etc the reader can very easily feel what the character is trying to convey.

Pinks' story! I love Davis and his determination, intelligence, and planning to help Henderson and the people who live there. Pinks and Red are trying to keep reality from intruding in their relationship. It's exciting to read about the new people visiting and returning to Henderson. Cal and Nat. Melissa and Thor. I cannot wait to read about them.

Pinks finally gets his girl but not as easily as he would have liked! Funny situations with equally funny characters makes for a delightful story. I must say that Emelina has to be my favorite character throughout this series. Everyone needs a grandmother like her! And Harry the “magic “ bartender deserves a story, he is awesome! Charles Lawrence continues to do an amazing job narrating.

I listened to this while in the kitchen. It made cooking a LOT more fun. (I used my ear bud for the spicy scenes).
This may be my favorite book by Liz Kelly. I love the main character, Pinks, and his love interest, Red. The fact that they keep their real names and facts of their lives to themselves to keep "Real Life" at bay while they enjoy their romance makes for some interesting get-togethers, especially as they find they know some of same people. I laughed out loud at some scenes, and one that made me cringe in sympathy. The subplot romance of Thor and Missy is so intriguing, you can be sure that I will be visiting Henderson and the Heroes as soon as that story is available!

As if we all don't wish this little town in North Carolina was real. I'm sucked into Henderson and don't want to leave. Liz Kelly has a way with her characters and Underdog is no exception. Can't wait to listen to the next one. Thank you Charles giving this series it's voice. Each character is different and dynamic, where ever you may be it's not hard to tell who's in the scene. That's talent.

This is a great book; this is the fourth book in the Heroes of Henderson series written by Liz Kelly and narrated by Charles Lawrence. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator Charles Lawrence did a wonderful job with this book. He did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
