Publisher's summary

I remember everything, only now I wish I didn't. When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself. But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed. Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know. I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day. He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him, even if that means marrying someone else.

Take Your Breath Away Sequel To King!

Dark! Raw! Gritty! Violent, Nail Biting Tension! I can't recommend this series enough!

Book two picks up right where book one ends, and T.M. Frazier takes the listener for a darker, more intense, brutal, and shocking ride than book one. This story sucked me in, and kept me on the edge of my seat, and when Tyrant was revealed, I freaking knew it!

Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro's performance was absolute perfection!

If you like dark, gritty, suspenseful romances with an intense edge, then this is a series you do not want to miss out on. Well worth the time, credit, and re-read!

Took My Breath Away

I loved 'King' by T.M. Frazier and thought it was incredible. This book-the continuation- blew me away. I loved that fact that I was so immersed in the story I thought my heart was breaking at some points and beating hard enough to come out of my chest at others. The author was able to pull each emotion out of me she wanted with the details and situations she had Doe and King go through. I held on tight until the end and was still reeling long after Molly and Rob spoke their last words. This experience, on a whole, was exceptional. This was a great listen.

Good Story till the end.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes i would definitely recommend this book. The details in the way the story was written definitely showed int he narration. Its not your usual story and it didn't have a girl that needed saving.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tyrant?

I don't have a specific moment but i think it was the moment when she remembered who she really was and what happen to her. But i guess if i have to chose one it will be when her father showed up at the end with King's daughter saying he was home.

Have you listened to any of Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes but only for the same series by T.M. Frazier.
My thoughts on both the narrators well i didn't really like Molly's voice at voice, it sound too raspy for my taste but as the story progressed it got better. Rob Shapiro, well he was great i think he really nailed each guy's tone and definitely made it funny on the scenes where Preppy came out.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The not so Fairy Tale of Raimy and King.

T.M. Frazier has a new follower!

The deeper into this series I get, the more devoted a Frazier fan I become. It's not my typical type of book but I love them all the same. I have to agree with another listeners comment who said that book 2 was better than the first. It truly was, but for me it was only because the book came full circle and had the closure that the first one didn't. They are both amazing and we'll written books. They are "emotional rollercoaster" books that will leave you wanting more. If you think you can handle it, hop on and ride!

Ripped my heart out but I loved every minute

King and Doe's story cuts you to the core. T.M. Frazier writes such deeply flawed character that grab your heart and hold on. You can't help but root for these two people who have been through so much. This series is sooooo good!!! The narration is excellent. Rob Shapiro's voice brings King to life!

even darker

This story starts where book 1 leaves off and we follow Doe adjusting her return home, and it is hard to see how she struggles when everything is foreign to her. When her memories return, especially at the end are those moments when you think maybe it would have been better if her amnesia would have remained. It is even darker, grittier where both Jack and Doe are in danger more than once, the revelations about Nicky, the truth about Tyrant, now there is a psychopath I didn't see coming. Then there is Bear's torture... very dark and brutal.
Preppy is one of my fave characters with his outrageous and sometimes comic comments, he makes his appearance in this book too, but as a ghost voice in their heads. I had to laugh he kept his promise... the keys in the freezer LOL I was mourning him too after his demise in book 1.

Again Ms. Glenmore and Mr. Shapiro did an excellent job and I enjoyed listening to their voices. Looking forward to book 3.

Another fantastic T.M. Frazier rollercoaster ride!

Good grief, these books. They’re not soft, or sweet, or all that romantic. Yet here I sit with eyes brimming full of happy tears after another T.M. Frazier rollercoaster ride.

This was the conclusion to King and Doe’s story. Like I said, there’s not a ton of romance in here, and these characters spend the majority of this story apart. And yet my heart didn’t get that memo. It sat, fully attached to this unlikely couple, and cheered them on the entire way. Every brutal, ugly minute and every whispered tender sentiment. It was here for the whole package, and it is not disappointed.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how perfect Rob Shapiro is as the narrator in these books. His voice carries that perfect raspy, rough around the edges tone that seems fitting to these characters. And he nailed it in this story - every gritty emotion was on full display and I loved every minute. Molly Glenmore is no slouch either. These books are perfectly cast.

In all - another easy five stars and a ramping up in my addiction to this series. I can’t seem to get enough, and will be diving right back in for more!
