Publisher's summary

After years of living abroad, Maizy returns home to the only family she's ever known - a pack of wolves. When she confronts her childhood watchdog to see where they stand, his resentment leaves her uncertain about where she really belongs.

Behind Denver's charming smile is a tragic past - one that's made his wolf savage and unpredictable. Only Maizy has been able to tame that darkness. And when they're reunited after many years apart, he no longer sees a child he once protected. She's captivating and intelligent - a woman with the world at her fingertips and two suitors offering more than he ever could.

Torn between two worlds, Maizy must choose how her fairy tale ends. Tragedy, murder, passion, and imprisonment all collide with a heart-stopping twist.

I begin to believe in fairytales again.

Any additional comments?

Two Minutes is more than a paranormal, shifter romance. This book reaches into your soul and speaks to you on another level. A story of coming home, of finding ones place in their past and seeing how that will work with what fate has deemed to be their future.

Maizy has sent years traveling and exploring the world. Now she is ready to come home and see if Austin is still her 'home' and how a human can fit in with a pack of wolves.

Denny has always been Maizy's watchdog, but when his duties are cut short by her being sent away for schooling he is left with a feeling of worthlessness. When Maizy returns home, all grown and breathtakingly beautiful, Denver is at a loss. He is no longer her watchdog. What is he? Packmate? Former watchdog? No one?

Maizy is faced with her own sets of doubts. How does she fit in? She was once the child that everyone adored and protected. Now she is a woman and her mark makes her potentially something more. When life becomes complicated with questions, secrets and insecurities, will fate smile upon her or rear its ugly head. Will she be left on her own to figure out her place in this vast expanse of a world, or will she be at home in the pack she grew up in?

Dannika brilliantly weaves a magical tale of heartache, love and coming of age questions into an unforgettable romance staring two secondary characters who have found their own voice. A couple that I have been cheering on for what seems like ages.

The plethora of emotions I experienced while savoring this exquisite story rocked me to my core. The author had me in tears of heartache, tears of deep love and tears of laughter. The intricate attention to detail brings the story to life. You aren't just experiencing a book-- you are living and breathing the book. Through Dannika's writing, I begin to believe in fairytales again.

I listened to the audio version of this book for most of my experience. The narrator is magnificent and really bring the story to another level.

It was truly a pleasure to experience this book, but it was bittersweet, as I know that the series is coming to an end soon. I eagerly await the next masterpiece from this 5+ star author.

I <3 Me some Denny <3

Where does Two Minutes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have all the books in this series in Audio and I love them all. Nicole is one heck of a narrator she makes you feel a part of the story. One of my favorite narrators; guess its fitting its one of my favorite series. One I have listened to more then once.

What did you like best about this story?

I have said it before, I was looking forward to this book from the very beginning when Denny was introduced. He was just a such a fun loving character you can't help but want him to get his happy ever after. I am glad it happened this far in to the series though, we really needed to give Maizy time to grow up and become the women Denny needed. And he for her as well.

Have you listened to any of Nicole Poole’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Oh yes I loved Nicole's narration in the Mageri Series as well as some of her other books. She really makes you feel like your apart of the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene in the bedroom with Lexi and Maze dang that cracked me up. And holy Hot'ness the elevator. Ok won't be giving anything away...

Any additional comments?

If you haven't already get this series in Audio you won't regret it well worth the credits' or money you spend. I promise! <3

Amazing!!!

Dannika Dark is amazing. She knows how to write not only an amazing story but a fabulous series. Two has to be the best part of the Seven series.

Could be so much better.

Well, nothing really stood out with this book. There was nothing to grab on to, because the story line was so weak. That's just my opinion, but I expected so much more from the author on this couple. After knowing the back story of Denver being Maizy's "watch dog", there should have been a more intriguing story line. More fight for her love, less misunderstandings between the two, and MORE TRUST! I mean come on already...how do you justify not trusting the person who's protected you ALL your life, and how do you not trust and know that person LOVE'S YOU with all their heart? I just couldn't see it.

Nichole Poole doesn't do the best job on diverse voice's for the characters. After a while the men all sound the same with just an accent, (one I can't place), thorn in for one, and the lead female sounding whinny. I noticed she did this in a few of the other books and it also caused me to rate the performance with three stars. Overall the series is good, but could be so much better with a narrator who could bring the characters to life. As far as her reading, that's pretty decent. I say go ahead and listen to the complete series, but books four and five are the best by far.

Fairy tales DO come true!

Always wanted Denver and Maizy to wind up together. Of course in the real world, or in this case the shifter world, that doesn't come easy. As with the others in the Seven series, Dannika writes a romantic, frustrating, laughable, sexy story with a fabulous happy ending. Nicole also provides another fantastic narration; she is on my list of favorites!

Couldn't stop listening. Can't wait for the last one in this series to arrive in audio. Dannika Dark weaves humour, suspense, love and wisdom into her stories. Great read.

The funniest of the whole series.

First of all Nicole Poole is amazingly talented, the way she brought every single character to life with her different voices and tones was beyond me.

Dannika Dark out lady are awesome for writing such an awesome series and choosing a good narrator to bring your books to life. This is the first complete series that I own on audio books and I'm glad I do because I feel like I know everyone single one of these people. From their upcoming to their misfortunes. This book was the funniest of all and Denver was just too wild in his own right. Hiding his grief and pain of loosing the people he loves he pushes everyone away. Until Mazzie comes home and she forces him to realize that he loves her and she loves him and won't be pushed away. Together they discover their knew found love and begging their lives together.

Little bit of a let down, but still a fun listen.

DENVER AND MAIZY. DENVER AND MAIZY!!! Gah!! I've been waiting for this pairing since Denver's loco wolf protected little Maizy from her father in book one. They're just SO CUTE my heart can't handle it. And since I've been impatiently waiting for this ship for SIX BOOKS it's not very surprising that I was a tad underwhelmed. SIGH.

It's my own fault, I shouldn't have built it up so much in my head. But what I didn't like about this was how inconsistent and random it felt. Similar to the other books, a TON of crazy stuff happens. Don't get me wrong, I love the insane drama, but there wasn't really anything connecting everything together. I kept waiting for a punchline that never came. With Maizy being so stressed about accidentally showing her birthmark in public, I thought FOR SURE that Prince had been secretly evil and staged everything just to capture her.

But no. Apparently everything just happened at the same time coincidentally?? And after soooo much build up about Maizy being a rare "potential" that they had to keep a secret at all costs, it had shockingly little to do with the plot??? There wasn't nearly as much drama around this dang birthmark as I thought there would be and it left me a little confused.

All that aside, I really did like this book. Watching Denver and Maizy's relationship grow was SO FRIGGIN' ADORABLE. You'd think it would be a little weird, or even creepy given the circumstances, but it wasn't. Watching Denver struggle with his feelings made it easier to accept and understand because we take the journey with him.

FINAL WORD
Eh, this one was just okay for me. I love Denver and Maizy, but didn't like the story as much as some of the others. Definitely some missed potential here.

My favorite of the series!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I finished the book in two days!

Any additional comments?

Denver is my favorite out of the Weston pack. So, that is probably why I love this book so much. I recommend you should get this book!
