Great Book
This is the fifth book in the series. I have enjoyed them all. This one is possibly my favorite. I loved that both characters were strong, loyal, and protective. There was also some great humor throughout.

Christi Caldwell books could always be shorter
I love the overall stories in this series and Tim Campbell is a great narrator. Not long into the stories the repeating and agonizing and self-flagellation begins and it is over and over again. I just want to say, OK, WE GET IT! But now I’m this far into the series, do I stop? Or do I continue on?

Something missing
The characters were fairly well developed and kinda entertaining, but the story lacked substance. There was nothing to create and hold the interest of the listener. It was hard to feel empathy...to feel anything..for the characters. Not a repeat listen for me.
