Bones and Kat are back!
This series is constantly good and I am so happy that there are more coming. This time the enemy and the plot are more complicated and they take quite a twist and turn... I really enjoyed reading all the characters I have read in the previous book and how they do their own things. Now I'm so familiar with them, through all the previous books, they seem like old friends.
It might throw off first-time readers but I don't think anyone would start reading from this book. If you are please go back to the first book and read them in order! I also recommend reading the related Night Huntress World books published before this book, too.
Great read cannot wait to read more!

no more frost novels on audible for me
i cannot stand the feminine high pitched voice used for BONES. terrible. i listened for all of five mins. and had to turn it off. the voice makes him sound like a wimpy, weak guy. not my impression of bones at all.

I love this whole series!
I repeatedly listen to these books. I love the store of Cat and Bones, and Tavia Gilbert is an incredible narrator.

Tate needs to die. He's wrong on everything he says or does and the author needs to stop making Kat pander to that crybaby

Excellent excellent excellent!
You will love this series and the narrator. Great books. Take a chance, you wont be sorry. And read the spin off books. They are great.

I love you Bones!!!
Jeaniene Frost does an excellent job of creating characters in this world that --- although fantasy --- seems so real!!! This series has captured my heart and I am totally addicted. Bones' accent could have been better but the narrator does an excellent job with Kat and all the others that this is easily forgiven. I love you Bones!!!

wonderfully surprising
Where does This Side of the Grave rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I love the way the author reveals the plot of the story, mixing suspense, action, romance ... without making the book into something tiresome or syrupy
What other book might you compare This Side of the Grave to and why?
I think the Elemental series from Elizabeth Hunter are similiar to this. The same kind of plot

I love Cat and Bones... but the others are amazing too.

This book is amazing. but as a suggestion I think is bood read "First Drop of Crimson - Night Huntress World # 1" before this one, to undersand what happens with Denise - how she turnêd into what she is now - and other things that are mentioned at the beginning of this book.

Still reading series...still loving every minute!!
What can I say that I have not already said...I love these books and the narrator!!! Sometimes the narrator can make or break a listen and Gilbert absolutely makes these characters come to life!!!
