I loved this book!

Would you consider the audio edition of This Side of Forever to be better than the print version?

Yes. I have previously read it in print, but enjoy listening to books. The narrator really added feeling and made it more compelling.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the fact that the heroine wasn't perfect. The characters seemed true to real life, unlike some Christian romances, which make everyone seem perfect. I cried during the sad parts, and laughed at the tire blow out scene.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the car accident scene. I've been to that actual spot on the highway, because I live in Arizona. I used to commute back and forth through that stretch and one time it actually started hailing just like the book very near the area it does in the story, and there is no cell phone service there either. That created a realism for me that nothing else could have.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I absolutely loved the emotion during the rescue scene. The print version was very good, but hearing the emotion in the narrator's voice added a new element of feeling. Of course, I'm a romantic--some people may think that part a bit sappy, but isn't real romance that way?

Any additional comments?

I hope the sequel comes out in audiobook too.
