Goodness Gracious!

so we meet again with Ava and she has everything against her....but alas things turn around. There is plenty of action, comedy, and romance. A couple times I burst out laughing. I love that you instantly care about the characters and that is rare! it's worth the credit. I wasn't a fan of the narrator but after awhile your more interested in the story than the nasally sound of her voice.

Wild Zoran mate!

I enjoyed this audiobook story about an Earth woman named Ava (who is friends with Sarah from book one) who is kidnapped by evil aliens while teaching a class for Sarah while she’s on maternity leave. The Nezdek aliens plan to use the women they took from Earth as breeding stock, but when a problem arises for the Nezdek they dump their cargo of women on an uninhabited planet- or so they think. Ava is the only one not in stasis and as she walks around the area she accidentally runs into a Zoran named Turnon, who declares her his mate. But the Nezdek will be coming back and where did he come from if he’s the only person on the planet? Narration was done very well.

I love being surprise in how a story will head and this gave me a good surprise. I love that he was so innocent but so tough. Ava was super strong and I loved her personality. I really liked to hear more about Sarah and Kazim as well. Beth Roeg did a great job on both books.

Interesting Storyline

Another great storyline; interesting and different from others books I’ve listened to in this genre. Glad our alien heroine was given his due; however as usual, the inflated egos persist in being the final hero. The narrator did a good job with characters but adding a male narrator would have enhanced the series. As short as each story is, this should have been offered as a complete series set. On to the next book!

Yep! ... again

Shorter than I am used to, but a great storyline. No complaints. Sex, romance, suspense, aliens.
Ohh, I don't want to forget narration. Beth Roeg is wonderful as usual.
The cat and I are satisfied. 🐱🐾🐾

Alpha Alien Protector!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would because the story was good, the narrator was good, and it made for an entertaining listen!

What other book might you compare The Zoran's Mate to and why?

Parts of it kinda reminded me of Eve Langlais's Alien Abduction series. The heroine was abducted by evil aliens but then dropped on a planet that only has one inhabitant. The male who ends up being her mate. Parts of it just reminded me of that series and it definitely made it interesting to listen to.

Have you listened to any of Beth Roeg’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't think I have. She did a good job though!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Turnon was beating on the spaceship trying to get to his mate. Also when he went through an entire ship of enemies to save his mate. It just reinforced how much she meant to him even in such a short time.

This was a great listen and the story was good. I really enjoyed it and ended up purchasing the this one and the previous one to actually read since I liked the audiobook so much!

Great addition to the series

This is a great addition the the series. The story kept my interest and the narrator did an excellent job bring the story and characters to life. I will definitely be re-reading this one.

Paranormal Romance Yes please!

Great story...I love action scenes and especially the love scenes. So hot! Anyways, If you love paranormal romance where the male strong and will do anything to protect his mate/partnet. This story is for you. I'm sorry for my late review. I thought I made one.
