Loved it!

As an avid Audible Escape member and romance reader .. the plots can sometimes get to be too much BUT this one is a refreshing surprise - no extraneous drama and the characters actually TALK to each other and genuinely get over themselves in a way that is more realistic than a lot of these books. Plus although he’s rich and she’s not - there’s no drama about it . Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!!!

Awesome story!

This story is realistic. Dealing with trust issues and ex-wives or ex-boyfriends, is the the new norm. Even the way things unfolded with Jensen and Emery, the way they misunderstood situations, or needed time to think about where they would go next.

Both characters had issues and both helped each other through it all. I also like how we could follow the entire family's story. Austin and Julia, as well as Landon and Heidi, And Morgan and Patrick! I'm looking forward to the next book!

Narrators were good. This was my first experience with them and they did not disappoint me!

Surprisingly Good!

This was my first read from this author and the narration really brought it to life. I'm on to the 2nd book.

I will start by saying that the writing, the story and the overall execution of the build-up between characters is FANTASTIC! K.A.Linde is so good in creating very relatable characters and circumstances and making them palpable to her reader. In this case the premise of dating the brother of your ex is a very strong plot that you want to dive into. What she weaves in masterfully is the many other undercurrent of plotline and twists that make you want to keep listening/ reading in one sitting. You feel the characters emotions and their turmoil and you can't help but root for them. The narration team was excellent!! I will certainly look for more of their narration work. I am very thrilled with this read and look forward to diving into the next book in the series.

Wright kind of romance

A classically structured romance novel with an interesting twist at the end.
Good summer listen, easy and well narrated - perfect for walks and garden entertainment.
I do a couple of books I call “comfort books” between murder and mayhem.
The male and female narrators were excellent.

Interesting twists on this story. It was a bit dramatic but the romance was there. Narration was very good as well. I couldn’t stop listening

The narration was fabulous. The story was excellent, I just wish we could have delved more into future stories with them. Hopefully we still see these two in the other wright books!

I can't believe this is my first K.A. Linde book! The story was amazing and I loved the narration of this one! I can't wait to listen to more!

Sexy new series!!

This is the first book I've read from this author. At first I thought this was not going to be worth it after reading the first few pages of chapter 1 but then it did get a whole lot better. This is about the fictional Wright family (3 males and 2 females) of Lubbock, Texas. I loved the description of the sexy men but the bff females sounded immature when they were together for being 27 years old. Usually by this age, your excessive partying and crude name calling for bff has subsided (1 star removed). Aside from that I enjoyed book 1, and am looking forward to the next in series. It was steamy, with some drama for Emery and Jensen. Worth my credit: yes.
