Good story very credit worthy.

I love Michele Hauf's books and this one is no exception. It had a good storyline - Ridge an Alpha Shifter went to Las Vegas, saved Abigail, a witch, from burning at the stake, they celebrated by getting drunk and ended up getting married by Elvis. Unfortunately, he accidentally shifts into a wolf while consummating the marriage and she freaks out by blasting up the electrical appliances and wounding him in the process.

They don't speak for 12 years then he wants to find a new wife to increase the pack numbers which is dwindling so he finds Abigail to get a divorce. However, she's just received a phone call saying that her 13 year old son has been kidnapped and so she asks for his help in return for a divorce. Love is rekindled during the struggle to get her son back as they learn to trust each other again and some questions are answered.

Good romantic story with action between wolves, vampires and witches. Not a wasted credit.

Dont waste your time

The story is awful. It's repetitive, there is almost no action. When there is a fight it's glossed over and summed up so that you can't even worry about what's happening to the main characters, because you have no doubt they will make it. It's boring. And it's predictable, obviously the child is his too. He is too dumb to even figure that out, and she keeps it a secret from him. The conversations are corny uninteresting. They just have the same conversation over and over in different ways. Ugh. I'm disgusted with it. If I had to hear that she was a bad witch one more time. I haven't finished the book. Maybe it gets better by the end. But I doubt it. Oh and also. He goes back and for between saying she did geld him and she nearly gelded him. Maybe the author should make up her mind.

Loved the premise, hated the execution

The reviews convinced me to try out this author - and the synopsis cinched it for me. I loved the idea: kidnapped child, desperate mother forced to ask her ex to aid in the rescue. But in listening, I quickly grew impatient while the hero and heroine had romantic, charming moments - too many moments - where the child was not on anybody's mind except mine. Made it through several hours, but finally gave up. Couldn't even finish this book.

Awful

What disappointed you about The Werewolf's Wife?

This is one of the slowest moving stories I have every listened to. It seemed like the author is filling in events and giving detail when it isn't necessary. This is one of the weakest books I have ever listened to. If I were reading the book I wouldn't have read it past the first three pages.

What could Michele Hauf have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The action is poor. The story is boring. There are really no surprises you know where the story is going.

What didn’t you like about Sasha Dunbrook’s performance?

She didn't add any to the book. The book wasn't interesting.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment, I just felt the story dragged on and on.

Any additional comments?

The characters are weak. The story is stale. I regret any money I spent on the book.

Did Not Want It To End!

Where does The Werewolf's Wife rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The best! I was hanging on every word. I felt like I was right there in some of the scenes because it was so vivid and captivating.

What did you like best about this story?

The flow.

Which character – as performed by Sasha Dunbrook – was your favorite?

I actually loved how so did all.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both reactions. I immediately looked for other books

I tried, I really tried...

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

No real story here. Maybe a plot with some events that grab my interest, characters that make me care what happens to them. It was just the two of them for the part of the story I was able to get through, and they were really boring.

What could Michele Hauf have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Written a better, more interesting story.

What didn’t you like about Sasha Dunbrook’s performance?

It was flat, dull. Could be the writing, not much there for her to work with.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No. I was hoping that her son would bring some chemistry, but I never even made it that far. Too much work trying to slog through this story.

Any additional comments?

I don't understand how some customers rated this so highly. I'm confused.

Good book

Alpha wolf Ridge Addison left his wife in Las Vegas, vowing to put their one reckless night of passion behind him and return to his clan. Thirteen years later he needs a divorce so he can become pack leader. Yet he's never forgotten the sensuous witch whose life he saved...Or the knee-buckling kisses he still craves.

Abby's son is kidnapped, and she needs Ridge's help in getting him back, and so begins their working together to get her son back. The irony in this story is that she isn't sure whose son he is. During the rescue it becomes obvious whose child he is. Very good rescue, fight scenes and witchy and werewolf behavior. Totally enjoyable, lots of action.

The narrator was a new one for me. She did an ok job.

A WITCH DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ALL BAD!!

Where does The Werewolf's Wife rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would say that this book is in the tome ten of the audiobook I've listened too.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Werewolf's Wife?

When the werewolf finds out he has a son on the edge of puberty that he had no idea even existed

Which scene was your favorite?

When Ridge shows up with Divorce Papers for his wife to sign after 13 years and her the son he didn't even know she had, has been kidnapped.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

O,Yeah

Love

I love it that Rich is a knight in shining armour and it's hot that he doesn't think so. I love it that all he wants is a family and that he forgives her. I love the narrative voice and the story was different and had all the supernatural being in it 😊😀😃😄
