I'm lovestruck!!!

Great narration and wonderful storyline. Love was built at the right speed and characters were built beautifully. One can see the story take place in front of her on a screen almost. I actually would love to see this trilogy on a screen. I adore Traci Anne Warren and Blanca Amato combo. Do not miss this book.

Love it!!!

I bought this as soon as it was released on audio.. Have been waiting to buy the rest of the series but it still has not come available! I have listened to it 3 times and still love it! My eye sight does not permit me to read anymore so I do hope the rest of the series will be produced and released so people with my disabilities can enjoy them

Makeover Romance

I absolutely adored the first book in the series and couldn't wait to start this one! Eliza is a new heiress and needs help weeding through her new suitors to determine those with honorable intentions, and those after her fortune. Violet's young brother in law Lord Christopher “Kit” Winter seems like the perfect man to help transform shy Eliza into the belle of the Season. The only problem is that Eliza has been in love with Kit since the night he first asked her to dance, and each moment with him shows her how right he is for her.

This is a steamy historical romance, be forewarned! I enjoy shy heroines who gradually realize their own self confidence, and that describes Eliza perfectly. Add in a good makeover and I'm hooked! Kit is the perfect foil for Eliza and I loved every time they appeared on the page together. I'll be listening to this one again.

Love this Trilogy!

If you like Regency historicals you will likely enjoy these, light but well done. This is literary comfort food for me. With a world full of nasty politics, war and climate disasters we all need some beautiful escape to a time that to us at least seems simpler. Not that we would want the narrow roles of the sexes, but someone else's problems are always simpler. The author has a knack for likable and distinct characters and the narrator does an excellent job in portraying them so you always know just who is speaking.

Good

Nice story and kept my interest, but it is not brilliant or engrossing. However, it isn't terrible either. It was not a waste of time, but I have listened to, or read, better romances.

A lovely Way to Enjoy a Romance

Although this book is the last in Ms. Warren's original Trap trilogy, this is a highly enjoyable listen, since the story stands on its own. Wonderful dialogue, witty, humorous and poignant. The characters are very human, very believable and very easy to care about. Ms. Warren's book comes to life beautifully in this audio version.

Audible, please add the rest of the series

This was a suprisingly good book, witty, funny, and oh, very sensual. I really enjoyed it. The narrator was excellent. Her nasal rendition of the bad guy, cousin Phil, was awesome. Eliza is basically shopping for a husband after she inherits her aunt's fortune. Her friend Violet enlists her brother-in-law Kit to help coach Eliza in her first season as an eligible heiress within the ton. The fact that Eliza is secretly in love with Kit and that Kit can't see love if it hits him over the head makes for a funny and frustrating situation for everyone involved. I wanted to wring Kit's neck sometimes. Very enjoyable story, light and fun. I am now looking for the other books in the series. If only audible would add them to its list.

Well done!

I really enjoyed this read. In the beginning it was a little slow and didn't hold my attention greatly. But once started, I really enjoyed the characters and storyline.
