Publisher's Summary

He kept his salacious secret for years. But soon, everyone is going to be reading about it in their morning paper....

The Varlet (and the Voyeur)

William Moore is a long way from home. A farm boy from Oklahoma, he's now the most well-respected member of the Irish rugby team. But appearances are often deceptive, and Will isn't the clean-cut, all-American good guy everyone imagines him to be. He's got a secret, one that will tarnish his reputation forever.

The Voyeur (and the Varlet)

Josey Kavanagh is a self-proclaimed mess, but she's finally getting her shi...uh, act together. She's set her sights on becoming a veterinarian, but there's one teeny tiny road bump. Her living arrangements are coming to an abrupt end, leaving Josey homeless and in need of a job to pay her way through college.

The Plan

What he needs is a companion to keep him on the right path. What she needs is an apartment with free rent. Will is convinced Josey will make the perfect companion, since she's brutally honest and basically "just one of the guys". Josey is convinced she can ensure Will doesn't succumb to his voyeuristic proclivities by keeping a scrupulous eye on him.

Except, what happens when the varlet is tempted by the voyeur, and vice versa?! Perchance something very, very volatile. And vexing.

The Varlet and the Voyeur is a full-length romantic comedy novel, can be listened to as a stand-alone, and is the fourth (and last) book in the USA Today best-selling Rugby series.

Love the story, HATE the female reader.

Buy the book, not the audiobook. Another great book from Cosway and Reid! Paul Corning was great, but seriously, what is up with the female reader!? She. Ruined. It. For. Me. Such a strange combination of cold robotic tone and total lack of awareness of punctuation while reading a story. I wish it was only Paul Corning reading. The only bad reader I’ve ever heard on a Penny Reid book. Disappointed.

Story is fantastic, but you should read it.

First, I have to say I love this series and I love this book! I have been waiting for the Audible version to come out for months. The male narrator, Paul Corning is fantastic. He will leave you hot and bothered and begging for more "Will" points of view.

Unfortunately, the production on the female narrator's sound is really, really bad. She sounds like she's standing several feet away from the microphone in a warehouse, and she tends to rush all of her words with very little inflection. There were several times that the scene changed, but I wasn't sure how we got there because everything sounded like the same paragraph.

My solution was to buy the ebook and read Josie's parts and listen to Will's.

Penny and L.H. have done it yet again!

Once again, these authors have combined their mastery of romance and wit to the delight of their fans.

Josey is a hot mess with a case of verbal diarrhea who is quirky and charming.

Will...sigh...Will. Strong, silent and...kinky...and who doesn't like a little kink in her man?

Thanks for the great story!

Well worth a credit

loved this book! , I'm a very very big Penny Reid fan. The male narrator was fantastic even though he didn't do the irish accents for the appropriate characters that I could live with however the female narrator was terrible. I really hate to say it but her voice was so monotone I found It hard to listen to and every single sentence she spoke sounded like a question. I found that really hard to get past.
