Publisher's Summary

A girl. A guy. And a talking peen.

Holly Martin isn't the type to have a one-night stand. But a crushing break up, a sexy blind date, and a few shots of Fireball is about to change all that.

Matthew Daniels is an introverted PA who claims he's too busy to date. But that doesn't stop his older brothers from encouraging him to let loose and get out there, because as they put it - the right girl won't just walk up to you.

But what if she does?

Is it possible for a one-night stand that happens twice, to actually become more? Could two nights of reckless debauchery actually lead to true love? Or is this just another case of a whisky induced disaster?

This romantic comedy is sure to have you laughing, cringing, rolling your eyes, and looking for a shot glass of your own.

This book contains mature content (and immature content). It is intended for adult listeners.

"The Two Night One Night just can't put it down audible!!"

I had already read the book and it is one of my favorites by Ryan Ringbloom. I am a "re-reader" especially if I am traveling. I love to bring a favorite book along. I now have a new found love for audible so that I can listen and drive. Tor & Charley did an amazing job at bringing Matt and Holly to life! When I heard Tor voice Peen I lost it all over again. My family thought I was "cray cray"! I think anytime I read about someone struggling with their conscious thought all I will hear is Tor's voice as Peen. I look forward to more from these narrators and of course from Ryan Ringbloom! Even if you have read this book, an audible makes it fresh and new, like watching a movie in your head but the narrator is able to convey the whole book to their audience. I will be checking out other audibles by Tor and Charley.

    "Laugh out loud funny!"

Every once in a while, a romantic comedy comes out that just hits me as so good and funny that I laugh out loud. This one definitely did this to me. Matthew meets Holly on an accidental blind date, not letting her know he is not the person she is supposed to be meeting. From there, it's one laugh after another along with incredible chemistry. Matthew is a sweet guy, hard working and doesn't date that often. Holly is recovering from a breakup and being told it's time to get back out there. What makes this so good, is the idea that men think with the wrong head. "Peen" is always talking to Matt, guiding him to jump into bed with Holly every chance he gets. The conversations they have are so entertaining, just like you would imagine them to be if you could hear them out loud. Give this book a read, you will not be disappointed, the story is great and the comedy is hysterical.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel duet narrate this story. Their chemistry always comes through when they perform and with this one, you can hear the laughter in their voices. Tor Thom's "Peen" is spot on, it will make those around you wonder why you are laughing!

"okay, liked it but at some times felt childish"

I got this book off of audiobook boom and just found time to dedicate to it. It started out really good! I think I struggled with childish dialogue sometimes, I'm guessing both the main characters are supposed to be unsexy who just found each other sexy, but while the story started strong, and was overall entertaining, I think some stuff was lost on me. I still suggest it though, especially if you like romantic comedies!

    "Great story with fantastic narration"
    Any additional comments?

Great book….loved the humor. It's definitely worth your time and credit. It's one of those books that you will listen to repeatedly just for the fun of it. It pulls you in immediately and holds your attention from beginning to end. I ended up staying up late because I was so wrapped up in the story I didn’t want to stop listening. I thought.... I'll just start this while I clean up after dinner. Well.... 3 hours later the dishes were done, the laundry and 3 bathrooms. When I started to reorganize the closet just to keep listening I knew I was in trouble. Even though I stayed up late to finish the book I wish it had been longer, just because it was an enjoyable story.

It's a well written, fun, humorous, steamy and just plain all around entertaining story with a great cast of well rounded and immediately likable characters.

The narration was fantastic. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are a great duo. They are each great narrators on their own but their dual narrations are a pleasure to listen too. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. Great character voices. Perfect tone and delivery of the humor. They made the story and characters come to life. Very enjoyable.

    "This book was fun!"
    Any additional comments?

This listen is your garden variety rom-com but it was formulaic gold! The duo narration really cemented the story and I thoroughly enjoyed the crazy.

The male narrator was my favorite. He delivered a swoon-worthy nerd and I just loved his presentation. The female narrator kept pace and her crazy kept me smiling.

The ending was kind of 'meh' but that's par for the genre.

It's too bad this is not a series though. I would love to get more of this story...and the six nieces...and two brothers...and ex-boyfriend...and gay male colleague. Hint. Hint.

    "Fun, cute and entertaining listen!"
What did you love best about The Two-Night One-Night Stand?

There were some really funny parts that totally made me laugh out loud. I think that's what I liked best about the book. That, and the fact that it was so real as opposed to some of these novels that I so far out in left field of things that would never really happen IRL. It was hilarious and genuine.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Two-Night One-Night Stand?

The whole awkward night at Matthew's with the snowstorm was pretty funny. I could appreciate the awkwardness of the whole situation, though I haven't been in the exact same situation. That's all that I can say without giving away any spoilers!

Which character – as performed by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel – was your favorite?

I thought that both Matthew and Holly were performed really well. I typically am not a huge fan of both female and male narrators in one book, as it sometimes jars the "flow" while listening, but it worked for this book and the writing style. The secondary characters were performed well too. Both narrators were super pleasant to listen to and played the various characters well, with a nice cadence.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It actually was. I personally could have done without "peen," but that's just my particular opinion. It was a fast moving, fun listen and I put it on sleep timer more than once in a night because I was enjoying listening to it.

"I LAUGHED OUT LOUD AND SMILED A LOT"
    Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author in exchange for an unbiased review.

Oh, Holly's life rode one Hell of a roller-coaster... bad dates to high hopes as her best friend sets up a Halloween blind date with her brother (really, how could that go wrong, it's her BEST FRIEND's brother). Mistaking one doctor outfit for another & loosened up by alcohol, a one-night stand is definitely what she needs, and he's her BF's brother, and therefore, safe, right? Blown off the planet by the passion all night only to crash and burn like a comet with one phone call from her BF.

And poor Matt... he's hanging on for a joy ride and then, for dear life as his quiet life is taken to the moon and back. The only advice he takes comes from his Penis who is dead set on running the show. That works out pretty great for one night but... well, time and time again he's lead Matt straight to the dog house.

Charley and Tor are blockbuster duo in audio narration. They bring real life to the characters and allow for the belly laughs to roll out.

    Two Thumbs Up!

    "Really, really funny!"

This audio book was really funny, but also had some really truthful, heartfelt moments in it. Holly has been hurt and really doesn't want to put herself out there again, but when she accidentally meets Matthew, something just clicks. At least until the next morning when she finds out he's not who she thought he was.
Matthew knows he's screwed up, but just keeps digging the hole he's in deeper. He really likes Holly. Really, really likes Holly. Alcohol contributes to their nights together and to the screwing up. And, he keeps listening to his penis that keeps talking to him telepathically.
I loved the humor in this book. My favorite parts were the allergic reaction scene and the scene where Matthew attempts to talk dirty to Holly. I love funny and this definitely fit the bill!
The narrators did a good job. My only problem with the narration was that the female narrator, Charley Engel, was a little overly dramatic with the sex scenes. Tor Thom has a great voice, but I was glad that the super low voice at the very beginning didn't turn out to be one of the main characters. Overall, it was a great time!
