Publisher's summary

Just what Genna Hastings needed: a conceited creep of a new neighbor with rippling muscles, mile-wide shoulders, and a wicked Jack Nicholson smile that could melt stone! It wasn't often that women resisted star quarterback J. J. Hennessy. With his summer sky eyes and kisses that stole her sanity and her willpower, J. J. was impossibly charismatic, magnificently male - and a bachelor father who was in danger of losing custody of his little girl, unless he could persuade Genna to help change his fast-lane image in time!

She was tempted by his offer, and by him - but she couldn't be head over heels in love with a wildman football player, could she? J. J. insisted that opposites attracted, just like magnets, but Genna wanted security, and a man who'd always be there. Could he make her believe he was her man for all seasons?

OK Story

I was not that crazy about the uptight female character. In spite of that, the book was still OK.

Fatherhood and Football

J.J. is struggling to be a father after the untimely death of his ex-wife. His next door neighbor is a kindergarten teacher, who has no time for him, who she sees as a big kid, who loves to play and has no concept of adulthood. J.J. is immediately curious about his standoffish next door neighbor and so is his impish daughter.
This was a fun, interesting story. Quite predictable, but a sweet cute journey.

Cute!

Tami Hoag has a wonderful ability to write light, funny stories with just enough romance. This was a cute story with characters that were funny and charming. I also highly recommend "Mismatch" by this same author. Great stories!

Disappointed

This was a stupid story. It was poorly developed and uninteresting.
