Publisher's Summary

lana Hamilton isn't an adventurer like her pilot mother, or a diplomat like her do-right brother; she's a brash, fun-loving filmmaker who'd rather work behind the camera than be a "Star Princess" in front of it. Heiress or not, she's a perfectly normal, single woman...until Prince Che Vedla crashes into her life.

With six months to choose a bride, the sexy royal wants to sow his wild oats. Ilana can't blame him-but fall for the guy herself? Hotshot pilot or no, Che is too arrogant and too old-fashioned. But when he sweeps her off her feet Ilana sees stars, and the higher he takes her the more she loves to fly. Only her heart asks where she will land.

A favorite genre and author.

What did you love best about The Star Princess?

The story and genre.

What did you like best about this story?

Loved the characters.

How could the performance have been better?

A totally different narrator? I can't stand listening to women who are BIIIIIIGGG smokers. It's VERY distracting, especially when I'm expecting her to start hacking and coughing at any given moment. Not feminine at ALL.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was just plain fun.

Any additional comments?

Susan Grant is one of my favorite authors. Let's please find narrators that can contribute to her work.............not detract??!!!!!

Boring - reader made it worse

The reader's lack of inflection and raspy voice emphasized the slow moving story. The characters' lack of interesting characteristics couldn't carry the type of book the writer attempted. I liked the futuristic elements and wanted to find something to like, but this one puts me to sleep.

Okay

The story was plausible, though set in the future and between different beings. But coincidence was necessary to get the HEA, and that can be tiresome. And you need to believe in love-at-first-sight, which I do. But that can be a challenge for some people too. However, I didn't like that the sex scenes were sort of glossed over with little detail. Why bother then?!
