Publisher's summary

Samantha Willan is a workaholic lawyer. She’s grateful for some rest and relaxation in cottage country, and after a recent breakup she wants to stay as far away from romance as possible. Then she meets her irresistible new neighbor. There’s something strange and mysterious about his eyes. Is it just her imagination, or are they locked on her neck?

Garrett Mortimer is a rogue hunter. His last assignment united Lucian Argeneau with his lifemate, and Mortimer is hoping this one will be less...adventurous. He’s here to track down a reported rogue, but fun in the sun is every bloodsucker’s nightmare. Worse, he can’t seem to get his mind off Samantha, especially when he spies her skinny-dipping in the lake. After 800 years as a bachelor, is he ready to turn a volatile attraction into a lasting love affair?

Well told!

I really like Rick Robertson reading the Lynsay Sands books.
He certainly has a lovely sexy voice which really does help!
Even though he doesn't really emphasis the charactors alot, you can still tell who is talking.
Rick Robertson really does justice to Lynsay Sands books.
As I have read all the books and heard all those
on Audible so far, I hope Audible has the sense to keep Rick Robertson as the narrator to all the books.

Not Your Usual Argeneau Story.

I don't know where to begin. First off this is not an Argeneau story, even though one of the characters is of the Argeneau family but not using the last name and had a rather small part. The other characters are hunters of rogue vampyrs and are specifically looking for one that has been feeding off people in the area. Not much hunting goes on in this book, it all revolves around Mortimer and his life-mate. Which after a while got rather boring. The ending in my opinion was not very satisfying and rather dumb. If you have to read this one, get it on sale, do not waste a credit.

The reader was good,he did female voices rather well.

Rick Robertson is the perfect fit for this Series!

Lynsay Sands has created a fun, and interesting world here. If you like Jeanine Frost's, Kat and Bones series you will like her world too. Although the series is beginning to show signs of "contrived circumstances" (LOL, it's all contrived) as an excuse for the sex, which for me, with this one, lost some of the enjoyment of the story. I do recommend this book.

Black Flies Suck… Literally

What made the experience of listening to The Rogue Hunter the most enjoyable?

The narrator, Rick Robertson, of course! He always does an excellent job and has a great sense of comedic timing.

Have you listened to any of Rick Robertson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have heard him narrate other books in this series, and he did an excellent job on them as well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think the most moving part for me was when Mortimer (and just a side note here who would ever think that a guy named "Mortimer" would ever be the lead character in a book, and we would root for him to get the girl) finally realized that Sam (Samantha) was his Lifemate, despite the fact that she didn't want anything like what he always thought she would.

I think this was well written

I love the twists like cockblocking times infinity (practically) and the 3 at the end…

I like be Lynsay Sands and the way Rick Robertson narrates, it’s captivating it’s very hard to push the stop button and makes you anxious to wait for the next book, to make you very excited

This was the first book of Lynsey sands that I read and actually listening to it beings it to life. God I wish HBO or Show time would turn these books into a show

Literally no antagonist

No true antagonist. This had the potential to be a great read/listen but the bad guy in this one doesn’t actually exist.

I love the series. Think what we could have learned from them if it was true.
