A perfect audio

Part 1 of a contemparty romance . Hero is Mick . Heroine is Tara . I'm a big big sports fanatic and I absolutely loved it . This story shows the sacrifices that some players go through . It also shows that just sometimes you have to put your foot down or you might end up losing what is the most important thug in your live .
Mick is the quarterback of the N.F.L team on San Francisco. Tara is an event planner.
Both Mick and Tara meet when Tara does a wrong turn at the stadium and Mick has to give her directions .
Later they meet at the event that Tara has to put on for the Team . The owner of the San Fransisco foot ball team hired her company to run it . Tara also has a son that she had out of wedlock and when she was 15
Mick sees Tara and approaches her . They hit it off . Once the event is over both Tara and Mick get down and dirty . Only one problem ,Liz , Micks agent . Liz doesn't like how Mick and Tara are close . Grab it and see what problems Liz does and how Mick puts her in her place .

A bit racy for me

I enjoyed the story but felt there was a bit too much detailed sexual activity.

Why, oh why did I wait so long to read Jaci Burton's Play by Play series? WHY? The covers . . . *dies* The sex . . . *shudders* It's a double whammy!

I loved Mick and Tara, they were amazing together -- in bed and out! :D The sex was off the charts, of course, but these two had great chemistry outside of the bedroom, and more importantly they had a real connection.

Mick is quite the dreamy hero. Sexy, caring, strong . . . I loved him. *happy sigh*

Tara is also a strong heroine; I really liked her and could easily see having her as a friend.

And Nathan was great, too. I'm not always a fan of children (or, in this case, teens) in romance novels, but I had no issue with Nathan.

All in all, I loved this book and will be coming back for more!

I can't say the narrator was my favorite, but she wasn't bad. I'd put her performance at about average, say 3 1/2 stars.

The story gets a solid 4 1/2 stars.

Storyline good. Female narrator for all characters took away from it.
Overall it was a good story.

Ok Story

To bad, cute story but sex scenes to slimy for my taste. Hate a book that I have to keep skipping chapters. Quit listening to it and will not be buying anymore by this author. If you like this kind of writing? Well fine what ever float's your boat. Just not my cup of tea by any means. And I will stick with more classy talented authors !!

TOO MUCH SEX

loved this book,the story was amazing and just the right amount of drama, but I think at there was way too many sex scenes I mean almost every chpater had one of two sex scenes. I fast forward the last two sex scenes because it was just to much, over an that the book was amazing.

Frustrating

There are definitely some good parts to this story but I just can’t stand the voice. She almost sounds like Siri. Robotic and emotionless. It just ruined it for me.

Loved the Strong Mother point of view

What made the experience of listening to The Perfect Play the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed Lucy Malone's performance. She really got into the strong female characters. Speaking as Liz is my favorite. Lucy gets some real sass going when Liz is up.

What other book might you compare The Perfect Play to and why?

I have no idea right now. I enjoyed this story. It's a love story and of course it has a happily ever after. It also comes with a real unmarried single mother that takes parenthood seriously and shows it with her actions and decisions.

Have you listened to any of Lucy Malone’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I enjoyed this performance. I think it is one of her best. I love when she brings the sass.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Don't piss off a momma bear.

Jaci Burton has such incredible talent. With this story, you get hours of love story and roller coaster. Will they, won't they? I enjoyed every minute of the ride. I was thrilled with the ending and it left me with a smile all day. That's all I can ask.

If you are looking for a steamy book...this is a decent one.

Voices didn't sound differentiate
